Shady Leasing Company, Bad Business Practices
June 4, 2024My experience living at Park Central has not improved and the only reason I am still living here is because I cannot afford the expense of moving at this time. Mac properties is a deplorable leasing company who looks to do nothing more than use the residents of Kansas City as their own personal piggy bank. When I moved into this apartment it was incredibly dirty and I had to clean the unit myself. Throughout my time here I've dealt with poor maintenance practices, failing appliances that have ...taken entirely too long to be replaced, and in general a staff that does not care about the wellbeing of the residents that live here. Their most recent offense, putting a paywall between the residents of Park Central and the ability to use a swimming pool that directly effects our quality of living. I have an apartment window that faces the pool, one of the main selling points on dealing with the noise from the pool was that the pool would be free to me included in my lease, upon my lease renewal it was not communicated to me that I would now have to pay $20-30 a month to use the pool when the other building that is connected to the pool area still gets to use the pool for free. Incredibly inconsiderate and unfair. I was told the cost of the pool was included in my rent when I moved into this building and now I have lost access to the pool but my rent has not gone down. Mac properties misleads residents and uses shady business practices.
