Pebblebrook Flats Review
June 28, 2021Stay away. I have lived at Pebblebrook for two years and they have been the worst I have ever had in a rental property. In my time here, I have had to make several noise complaints regarding children whose parents think a hallway in an apartment is an appropriate place to play... and while these do get addressed, it is only a bandaid and the noise picks up again in a matter of days. Additionally, the children here also think it's appropriate to use the callbox at the building's entrance to ...randomly call neighbors, as well as knock on residence's doors and run away. The maintenance staff has also led to a lot of the noise complaints I've had - including an instance where they were blasting the music so loud as they were painting an apartment next to mine that they couldn't even hear me tell them to turn it down. There have also been several safety concerns, ranging from packages being stolen, theft from the storage lockers, theft in the supposedly secure garages, shootings, and an assault. The only thing here that the management has addressed was the package thefts and have created a specific room for these to be picked up. For the other issues, we usually get an email to be mindful of who we let into our buildings - and while this is true and there is some responsibility left to the residents, the assault actually took place in the gym, which is located in a building that is not secured from 6am-10pm and it's ridiculous that they put the responsibility back on the residents for that. With the high cost of rent, you'd think that they could allocate some of those funds to making this is a safer community. They are also really big on emailing a list of rules for the community... but never actually enforcing them. Additionally, as stated in another comment here, the buildings are old and you can actually hear every single step a resident living above you makes. That is not an exaggeration. Personally, the only way I've been able to find peace and quiet here has been from wearing ear plugs almost around the clock. Furthermore, please be aware that you will be subject to regular water and gas shutoffs, which a pretty much monthly. Steer clear from this place. Newly remolded & Fantastic
August 9, 2015The apartment I've been living in for a year now and yes I did renew my lease, is amazing. Everything is near by and convenient. Gas station, grocery stores, drug stores to malls. Its right across the street from a community college. The amenities in this court has a in building game room such as billards table, fouls ball table and arcade machines plus there are many on site Grill areas. So if your looking to have a great 4th of july bbq it up! I myself live in a 1 bedroom apartment and the sq ...ft is well enough for me. Dinning room with patio thats from the living to my bedroom so very clean and large patio. Built in microwave oven in wall, fridge, oven, dishwasher, & washer & drying. Oh and if your one of those Minnesotans that dislikes the summers because its so humdity here, central A/C is here. Lots lots & lots of storage place. Rubbish chute yes the word says it all. Management are very friendly and helpful they do offer movies rentals and hold UPS or any deliverly service if your not at home, so you never have to go to your local post office to pick up your items. Club house is fantastic large 40inch tv with furniture and kitchen area for special events. Weight center which is newly remolded also great and new equipment. Swiming pool and hot tub.
