August 10, 2015 - Review from Apartments.comI would have to say this place is nice because it's not a huge complex. It does have a pool, but no jacuzzi/hot tub. Laundry area is soon to be upgraded. Minimal parking, one spot included that's covered and has a storage space, but if you have a second vehicle finding parking on the street can be difficult. No appliances included, and no dishwasher. They could definitely use some serious upgrades, but then the rent would be even higher and it's already pretty high. Only 1 bedrooms and studios ...here. A lot of college age surfer guys here. Cats are allowed, and they say no dogs, but I know several residents that have dogs here. Even pitbulls. And NOTHING is done about it. We're very close to the beach which has its ups and downs. Upside is being able to walk to the beach or downtown Huntington in less than 10 minutes, and the nice breeze ( no A/C by the way.). Downside is tourists that are constantly taking up parking and walking around drunk right in front of the apartment complex at all hours of the night making tons of noise. Since there is no A/C, you will want to keep a window cracked at night, and if you happen to be on the street side, you will be woken up every night by people with no class. The apartments themselves are decent and the location is okay. But for the price they are asking, they should really upgrade the units. They are completely outdated. Kitchen is the worst. Probably wouldn't renew the lease.Read More
