Management fired the doormen/women on a Monday with no previous notice.* I now need to relocate my aging parent, since the security in the building was a key reason we chose Plaza Point. The building has run much less efficiently and affectively since this company took over.

I love the location however, the New Owner/s have no idea on how to keep up the building. The rent is equal to what is being asked for in this area but, the level of upkeep is another story. Recently the 24hr Doorman amenity changed and is no longer 24hr (security was my #1 factor in my decision to lease). Maintenance department has been reduced to 1. Old buildings are very charming but they need to be maintained in/out. Owning a building is more than just collecting rent.

Location, apartment size, quirkiness is fantastic. Neighbors, maintenance are fantastic. Doormen/security were fantastic until upper management made the bad decision to eliminate them on a Monday afternoon - without even giving the courtesy to tell them to their face. Upper management/investors that took over the buinsess side here are extremely unprofessional.

I stayed at Plaza Point for 4 months and I had to move to a different city. The apartments are spacious and the rent is affordable for Plaza. However, when i broke the lease, I was asked to pay one month's rent and my security deposit was retained. This was not mentioned in the rental agreement. I paid the rent and security deposit and left. 3 months later, I got a call from a collection agency asking that I owe Devinki real estate $2,500 for breaking the lease with plaza point. I never received ...

any documentation from anyone. I was not told about this amount by my landlord when I was breaking the lease nor was this mentioned on the rental agreement. I asked for documentation about this from Plaza Point, they said they don't have it. And I don't know why would Devinki real estate charge me without sending me a notice. I had no visibility with them. I should ideally receive any such notice from my apartment. The collection agency threatened me to put that on my credit history. It is just too much money and things are suspicious and untold to the renter. I would suggest to choose a different apartment but not this.

I lived here for 2 and a half years and would have stayed longer had I not been relocated for my job. Loved the location and the office staff and doormen were always helpful. I never had any significant maintenance issues but the minors ones I had were tended to extremely quickly and noise was never a problem. I absolutely loved the balconys and huge closet space. I lived with my boyfriend at Plaza Point for 1-year and we loved it. The Lady in the office was extremely responsive and friendly. The location to the Plaza you really can't beat. And the amount of space you get for the money is unheard of for that area. The building itself is very quiet and clean. I think it could do for some updating especially to the lobby/reception area. But that would be the only complaint. Overall it is a great place, great location and great price.
