Infestations and Worst Management

Can't keep the roaches and ants away. I've had them come by and spray but it doesn't help. Even 1 is too many to see. Management is terrible and don't listen or offer solutions. All they care about is money so you get nickel and dimed on anything you can imagine. They're trying to change their image now by trying to be more "luxurious" and jack up the rent when the units here are over 10 years old with the same laminate countertops and black appliances. Even worse is they're charging hundreds ...
more for newly remodeled units with actual granite and steel appliances when nearby apartments are including them in their standard rates.

Noisey neighbors, tenants smoking weed outside, and throwing parties at all ours of the night!

We've only lived here 3 months and have had nothing but issues from neighbors. People above us constantly stomping on the floor back and forth all hours of the day/night. Tenants smoking and/or selling weed outside. Tenants throwing loud parties on their patios/balcony's late at night during the weekdays. Courtesy officer can never respond to calls. Management refuses to do anything! Police have to be called to get any results. Don't waste your money!

Bugs bugs bugs! Newborn baby roaches will be crawling on your dishes. Smelly laundry room with no air and broken machines, no refunds sorry! Shoe boxes with needles in the parking lot. No barrier between floors so if you have a child upstairs expect your downstairs neighbor to despise you and pound on your floor.... try explaining that to a three year old they totally care. Snobby office staff and this is coming from a person who may be considered snobby by others so ya know it's bad. The best ...

Terrible Management

Management is slow and unresponsive when it comes to taking care of business. They do not care about the resident or future residents. If you put in an application, make sure you stay on top of them because they need constant reminders to do their job. I would not deal with Ivette as she is constantly gone and does not put any effort into processing your application. Martha and Carly are no better. The staff members do not return messages.

To much overturn

I have lived in Republic for almost 2 years. Within the 2 years I have had many problems with upstairs neighbors. Office staff does not care, all they want is money. This is my last yr and I will never recommend to anyone. Worst apartment complex ever. Gates always break, trash gets backed up. Just unexceptable.

Clean and quiet ... some small concerns.

Nice apartment overall. Clean and comfortable layout. Large patios. Kitchen is a bit smaller than average if you like to cook and lacks sufficient storage for food, plates and cookware but if creative can make it work. To the best of my knowldege they do not provide washer/dryer rentals - or at least I have not been given any information about it. Parking is a significant downside. Unlike some apartments, there is no guaranteed parking spot per apartment and limited covered spots and ...
garages (used mostly for storage by people -which is their right- from what I have seen) available for an extra fee (a concern during hail season). Also not enough spots in front of your own building depending on which one you live in. If unlucky, may have to walk farther than expected to park. Not much lighting at night too. Plus side. Overall a quieter apartment complex. Maintenance is generally quick. Pet friendly although clean up after irresponsible pet oweners in areas that dogs are walked is inconsistent and not regular. Rent jumped very quickly during renewal. Though not uncommon across the board from what I have heard from other renters even in other states. However, it did cost more per month to renew for 11 or 12 months than 10 months. I have never seen or heard of this practice before.
