Amenities aren't everything

I moved in last year. Hopes were high; obviously good amenities like spa, workout room, security and common area flat screen TV. So why am I rating it only "Fair"? The owner decided to build the complex on Highway 99 directly across from a Public Storage facility. Anyone who lives across from public storage with their security lights glaring into your living room and bedroom is destined for sleep deprivation...GUARANTEED. 99's traffic noise is UNbelievable: Harleys without exhaust muffling ALL ...
DAY every single day. Plus cars owned by 20-somethings who want to show off their engines and brakes. In warm weather, you must either have AC or keep windows open; which gives you two choices. Either sweat or be deafened. And never mind your PETS! They will be stressed by the continual racket. And how would you know this would be the case as you move in? No one will volunteer the truth!! I will be moving out at earliest possibility. Oh...and the management could hardly care less. The require WRITTEN comments and then don't respond unless you get in their face. Choose another place to spend your golden years. Honestly.
