I loved living at Riverview! Our unit was clean and in very good shape when we moved in. Splitting the rent with another person made it super affordable. The location is great- really close to downtown/the river/a beautiful yoga studio/the Kent Free Library- and far enough away from campus/downtown so that there is very little foot traffic. Our maintenance requests were always responded to within 24 hours. Debbie is awesome- always helpful and responsive to emails. We were on the 3rd floor so it ...

did get pretty warm during the summer months but getting a small window unit for the bedroom really made a difference!

I've lived here for about 4 years now, and I highly recommend these apts for people who aren't top notch picky. Free internet/cable, extraordinarily large living room, and you're literally around the corner from downtown! The apts may be smaller, but the price you pay for being so close to everything is something you can't beat. I would've given it 5 stars, but there are a couple negatives. There is absolutely no air circulation whatsoever, so in the summer you'll be living in a major sweatbox ...

sauna (no central air), and the building is older so there will be a few minor details along with that. I don't like the pay for laundry, nor do I like taking my laundry to my mom's, or the lack of a personal balcony, or the tiny kitchenette, but these are nothing. Great place, friendly staff, very welcoming!
