A Bit of a Diamond in the Rough
July 21, 2017I lived at Rockport Manor for almost two years, moved out two months ago and I miss it already. The outside doesn't look impressive, and it's low on amenities, sure, but my 1-bedroom was very spacious, very clean, and very affordable, with a new kitchen floor and countertops when I moved in. I had enough closet space for all of my shoes(well, almost,) and the extra storage unit on the bottom floor of the building was a HUGE bonus (I'm not sure if it's mentioned in the ad here, but it should be.) ...They had also installed a new bathroom vanity right before I moved in. Management was friendly and accommodating, and usually responded to emails and voicemails in a timely manner. The complex is located within walking distance of Westgate, and it's a relatively short drive to the Great Northern area, downtown Lakewood, Crocker Park, Kamms Corner, the Emerald Necklace Marina, and, perhaps most importantly, Mitchell's Ice Cream. If you want a place that's very nice and not too fancy, I would absolutely recommend Rockport.
