The neighborhood is fairly safe. The schools are not bad. Unfortunately, when it comes to living in this place, you need to know Spanish to talk to the landlord and put everything in writing for all agreements. Living in the unit has been very difficult. There are broken tiles, the back sliding door does not have a secure lock and it keeps coming off the track, the A/C freezes up, and you can literally hear everything that is going on outside. The back yard is small. Be prepared too battle fleas ...
and mosquitos on a constant basis.
