Great place for students

Property is beautiful and well kept. Management is strict about policy but provides timely maintenance support. Great if you're a UoR student as the rent is low and the shuttle service is decent. Being able to turn off your own fire alarm was a plus. Don't plan on housing more people than on the lease as they check the place routinely.

As of 9/25/22, they have rodents. They do the bare minimum to take care of it. You can hear them running in your walls. When I called maintenance they said “it a die eventually”. We said what else can we do they said we recommend getting a cat. If you get your own pest control you have to pay for any other damages done by the rodents from that point.

I spent 2 years in RV, here are some things I like about RV: great place to walk around here after dinner; the swimming pool and free car wash in summer; nice employees here and easy to communicate; good location(close to Costco, Asian market and universities)

Good Place - Many Terrible Neighbors

Nice buildings, great landscaping, but a lot of the people are really rude, awful people. I get distracted from school because of my neighbor's child screaming, people not following basic decency, leaving dogs off leash and letting them use the bathroom everywhere without picking it up.
A lot of the people are aggressive and entitled, thinking rules only apply to everyone else and never them.
It almost seems as though Rustic strategically enforces rules for some people.

The pictures and amenities advertised actually look the same if not better in real life. After looking at three other locations, I was super impressed at the organization and the professionalism of the management staff. I was shown the actual apartment I could move into instead of a dressed up model. I had a minor maintenance request that was addressed and fixed within literally hours. The apartment itself looks great and is very well maintained to where I felt like I was moving into a high end ...

This place is overly priced for what you actually get maintenance is kind of slow and sometimes don’t fix the issue they have rats and mice in the walls that we’ve complained about multiple times and nothings been done and when they need the pavement redone they just close a lot and force everyone to walk even further than you already have to to get to your apartment and the walls are paper thin so plan on hear your neighbors every move I was extremely dissatisfied

We absolutely love living at rustic. Yosra made the move in process from out of state in the middle of winter so easy and worry free. Totally not satisfied with the Apartment. Very noisy neighbors living about me and they keep me up all night where I got to catch up on my sleep during the day when they are at College! The girl runs around the Apartment to everything instead of walking! They drop heavy object every night over my living room like it could be a cold up table or bed. Security has talked to them over time but they just keep on continuing the problem! Really not happy here and want to move to better and nicer ...

Not recommend Rustic Village. The rent there is the most expensive in Rochester and their service is the worst. My room's heating system has problem and kept noisy whole night. I cannot sleep for whole night. I reported the issue to Rustic office to repair at 4 AM in the morning but they didn't take any action. I called back in the afternoon and they said they have no idea when the problem will be fixed. They just don't care tenants at all. Rustic Village is the worst choice!!!

The place is nice with really nice landscaping and pool however the staff has a very entitled attitude that does not lead to good customer service. On multiple occasions have had poor service from the staff and wouldn't recommend staying here for this one reason alone! If I had more room I would give detailed description of the poor service. Also from the report below you can see they gym is not good and they do not make any improvements either.

We have lived here for two years and live in a garden level and we repeatedly experience ant infestations, centipedes, flying ants, spiders, and one time even a MOUSE. Laundry is pretty pricey - you pay $4 a load (wash and dry). There is a gym with a small fee, but the residents do not wipe down the equipment and it usually smells.
