  • Good community but expensive.

    The property is brand new and a good place to live. I really enjoy the layouts of the apartments offered. Very nice gym for an apartment. The pool is beautiful but, can get crowded. There has been a few issues with gates, pool, etc and they seem to be taken care of in a somewhat timely manner. This is a Mark Taylor property so it is expensive and, they charge you for everything. The rent advertised does not include any of the many mandatory fees.

    Ok, lets start with me saying, This is a real nice place. Let me also say, you pay extra for EVERYTHING you see. Rent is high here. Luxury apts. You have to pay to stay. You have to pay for a trash service, that picks up your trash, outside your front door, Sunday thru thursday ONLY. No holiday pickup either. You pay $29.00 for this. This is NOT an option. Its built in to your lease. You pay a facilities fee, an administration fee, Gas fee, to heat pool and gas BBQ's is my guess, you don't have ...
    any gas in your apt. $25.00 pet fee per animal. This is every month!!!! That being said, This place is very nice and clean. Any problems I have had, were taking care of in a very timely manner. They have people who clean up the grounds every morning. Pool area is very nice. Has a resort feel to it. Great club house, TV's at the covered pool area, as well as the club house. They have a 24 hour office area with Mac and Pc computers, that residents can use free, with fax machine and printer. This is an gated complex, I like that a lot. Some people can pay EXTRA for a garage other wise you get covered parking. The staff are and have always been very friendly. So I guess you just have to decide if you want to pay $$$$ to live here. I chose to live here, so I guess I can't complain...... or can i just a little? Have a great day, and yes, Gilbert is a great place to live!

  • The Kings Palace

    The San Privada is literal a palace. You really do "get what you see". You can tell that theses guys here are not just some classic apartment guys they are true royalty. From there ads, pictures, and design everything is just flawless. You cant go wrong here. Its worth every penny and the make sure of it. I would recommend The San Privada to all.

    This is my first apartment in 15 years and I just have to say I made the right choice. Looked at numerous nearby apartment complexes and none come close to the upscale feel for the price as San Privada does. Excellent amenities. Very courteous staff. Love the daily trash collection. Well priced for the location, size and appointments in each apartment. The garages are amazing too. Had one problem, a clogged dishwasher, was handled the same day. Dishwasher had actually come that way, my apartment ...

    San Privada is a Mark Taylor property. This is the best set of apartments that I have ever lived in. It has a huge salt water pool, a great workout room with every kind of equipment that you can imagine both open 24 hours a day7 days a week. It also has a clubhouse with big screen televisions and is a gated community.

  • What is Luxury anyway?

    At first glance, San Privada does look like advertised - luxury apartments. The amenities are great. There is a state of the art fitness center and gorgeous pool with fountains. However, in the 10 months I have lived here the pool and hot tub and the fountains have been out of service several times They also advertised fitness classes but there is only Yoga 1 night per week. We were told the pool was heated in the winter but I would guess there was approximately 8 weeks last winter when the ...
    water was too frigid to enjoy. The excuse of management is that they are awaiting "parts". It takes weeks to get "parts"a and get things back in service. One also has to ask why when this is a brand new complex why so many things break down? How many short cuts were taken in the construction The security is also not as promised. Being gated does not apply when the gates are open from 9-6 every day and like the pool the gates have been left open several nights while management waits for parts. They say they have a security for a few hours at night but I have never seen him and I was never given instructions how to reach him. In fact, there have been thefts due to the fact that the garage doors randomly open. If your garage door is left open during the night, you are not notified by security. When I asked about this I was told the security guard's hours are limited. My final concern is the noise. We were told there was quiet time at night but no one is around to enforce that rule. There are frequent loud parties in the common areas over the weekends. The area is great. It is very close to San Tan Valley mall. Downtown Chandler and Downtown Gilbert are a short drive. I work in Mesa and the commute is easy. Sprouts and several restaurants are within walking distance. The apartment itself is beautiful. We love the modern look and receive many compliments when people visit. The view is great. None of the appliances or features of the apartment have broke down and maintenance has always been very responsive. We have been happy here overall but in the end it is just an apartment complex like every other. Don't expect luxury treatment
