Move out experience is terrible

Living at Savoy was a fine experience, but went severely sour after moving out, Savoy is now attempting to charge me for standard wear and tear items such as scratches from pans on a glass cooktop. Additionally, the living experience had a few major flaws such as heroin needles found behind the dumpster, which made it feel unsafe to walk, or walk dogs in the areas surrounding. The garage doors would also break more than once a month and can stay open for weeks at a time. The team at Savoy, in my ...
experience, also treats the main building much better. The hallway scents are replaced more often in the main buildings, and things stay broken much longer than in the main building. In my entire stay there, Savoy also generally overcharged for things. For example, they use a rubber silly band as a “proof of residence” for the pool in which they charge an absurd amount for a replacement.

They will screw you over when you move out.

All was well and good until I moved out... $1,700 bill in misc repairs after moving out. Had 2 people walk through the apartment and aside from minor blinds repair, nothing needed to be fixed. Not happy.

We DOWNSIZED, and are loving it. We love the location of the Savoy, and we love our apartment. We have a 2 bedroom with a den, and it is perfect. The maintenance team are great and quickly address issues as they arise. We love the "trash butler" that picks up our trash (and our Christmas Tree!!) right at our door 3 times a week. There are some bumps and plumbing noises from time to time, but it's an APARTMENT building, not a house. When we first moved in, we smelled smoke from our neighbor's ...
apartment, but after sealing an outlet, no more smells. We have great neighbors, a wonderful pool, and a lifestyle that makes us feel like we are staying at a beautiful hotel surrounded by everything we love. I would definitely recommend Savoy at the Streets of West Chester.

Absolutely loving my apartment at Savoy at the Streets of West Chester! Spacious one bedroom with plenty of floor space, brand new surroundings and state of the art technology. Love how secure the surroundings are and how close I now am to the many local restaurants and shopping areas-all within walking distance. Very friendly office staff and always very helpful. Looking forward to all the amenities opening,gym, lounge, pools. So happy with Savoy as my first apartment.
