Poor quality and poor amenities
September 6, 2023I lived here for 5 years so I feel like I am expert on Senate Square. There are absolutely 0 amenities like a gym or any kind of facilities/ events that make this place worth it. There isn't even any laundry facilities in the unit. You will have to drag your laundry down flights of stairs and into these dirty, muddy laundry rooms if you want to have clean clothes. The machines are also COIN OPERATED so good luck doing laundry unless you have a coin machine nearby. Also, the property never fixes ...the machines and just tells you to call the number on the back of them if you need assistance. Surprise... no one ever comes to fix them. These units are raggedy and not worth the price. When I moved in 5 years ago the rent was $650 for a 2 bedroom. Now it's almost double that. Save your time and money and go some where else! Also, they change property managers ever 3 months so you have virtually 0 chance of getting anything meaningful resolved. This place sucks.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Good community
August 9, 2021I moved here November 2020 . I like these apartments they are up to date and close to highway 55. The location is very convenient for me being in Benton Park (south city) and still being near downtown . Neighbors are very friendly and there are many dogs that live in the area and a nearby dog park. Only complaint is ppl always walk through the ally’s where we park our cars in the back and they will steal out your car if u forget to lock your doors (but that also can happen ANYWHERE) . Their 1 bed ...rooms are kind of small. The closets are not spacious at all if u have a lot of stuff CONSIDER a 2 bedroom instead of 1 .Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Slum Village
July 26, 2018DO NOT MOVE HERE. Unless you want your car to be broken into. The property manager Malakhi does not care. The leasing agents Caleb and Goldie don't care either. The police won't do anything about it, and to make it worse there's actually a cop that lives in the neighborhood. For a place that doesn't have any updates with barely working washers and dryers, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere.Review from Apartments.com

Cozy in the City
September 16, 2015Senate Square has beautiful redbrick townhouse apartments in the Benton Park area of St. Louis. Waking up to the smell of hops floating through the air from the Anheuser-Busch Brewery is one of the best things about life in my neighborhood, which also has some of St. Louis' best restaurants, and bars that truly hidden gems. My home is cozy and spacious, with plenty of room for entertaining and a great place to just come to at the end of a long day at work.Review from Apartments.com
