I lived here for about 2 years and to be honest it was one of the biggest mistakes in my life. The upkeep on the property is very poor, the tenants are known druggies and the maintenance staff is almost non exsistant. It was the first apartment in my name. I was young when I moved here and the price seemed right so I went for it. But you get what you pay for. I was treated very poorly by the property manager Taressa even though my rent was never late and I never caused any disturbances. My ...
apartment was a ground level which is fine but it flooded multiple times during my stay. I had a sliding glass door that went from the patio area into my living room/dinning room and it flooded bad. So bad that they had rip up my carpet several times and put huge blowers on the floor for days so that the floor could dry. When I moved out I assumed everything was fine and heard nothing from them until almost five years later when a collection agency contacted me and said that I had an outstanding blance with summerset for damages to the apartment. I was very confused as to why they hadn't contacted me sooner. But aparently my base security deposit, and my $200 pet security deposit wasn't enough to replace the carpet. The carpet that had been flooded onto multiple times and was no fault of mine. This is what you get into if your thinking about signing on with this property. Becareful and and find another place if you can.

I love our apartment.The people here all look out for eachother.We are close to our grocery store,the library,the gym,we have plenty of places to eat that are all within walking distance.The price we pay for rent is very reasonable.
