Noisy place! Dirty and littered grounds and parking lot with scattered trash. The pool is filthy, and un-swimmable. WAY overpriced for such a rotten and depressing place. Not a home you want to hang your hat :(

Southland is a hidden jewel! I was looking for a quiet, pet-friendly (and neighborly) kind of place and that's what I found here. ive had only one simple problem and maintenance fixed it within the hour! They encourage plants outside which I love. The pool is open 6am-9pm. They lock one set of gates at night for added safety, as well as have a security patrolling the parking lot. Diana in the office is very sweet and helpful. Ive come to know many of my neighbors and we help each other out ...

Love this place! Super friendly and helpful staff, great pet policies, quaint little community. The newly remodeled apartments are gorgeous and the older apartments are very well taken care of and maintained. Has definitely made my first apartment renting experience a breeze!

I've lived here for a little over a year now and I've been pretty happy. Maintenance is on top of everything and responds to your issues quickly. Our laundry room just got renovated, all the machines are brand new ^.^
And you're in walking distance of plenty of stores Sprouts, CVS, HEB, Starbucks, etc etc etc and the Stephenson Nature Preserve.

Southland apartment have Quaint living spaces that open to an amazing open and centralized courtyard, with a relaxing view. Whether you're by yourself or living with someone else, these apartments have much more than you may realize. These apartments have a great kitchenette; maintenance staff that live on site; friendly, caring and personable management; a police officer that lives on site for your peace of mind; a fun ...

These apartments are within walking distance to just about anything you might need in your daily life, 3 major bus lines (2 that run into downtown Austin, one of which is express) 2 blocks away from ALL of the following : Wells Fargo Bank, Compass Bank, BB&T Bank, CVS Pharmacy, sprouts farmers market,5 restaurants, Shortstop burgers, Pizza Hut, a donut shop, a small shopping center with a small family practice clinic and two dentists, a pet clinic, two blocks away from the post office, two blocks away from a fire house,and so much more will just have to explore once you're living here.

I lived there for just over a year. It's pretty peaceful. The staff couldn't be more helpful. I didn't have any problems living there. If I did, maintenance was quick to solve the problem. If I had to live in an apartment again, it would be at Southland. Thanks for the hospitality!

Decent sized apartment, clean and well kept. Pets allowed with deposit. Carpet quality was a little lacking (I've been here for about 6 months and it's already starting to come up and come apart in places) but since I have a big dog, it's probably for the best. The management is really personable and accessible. Maintenance is easy to get ahold of and timely. It's quiet with lots of green space. I'm super happy with my choice.

Not the best apartments in town but you get what you pay for, in a good spot and decently priced. Month to month leases, small complex with friendly tenants and management. Newly remodeled units are also available.
