They put you on hold for so many weeks, even if you make 6 times the cost of the monthly apartments rate .The staff is very friendly but they don’t know nothing about paper work.the units are old too old, they think they are renting you a 5 start apartment. Poor apartment quality very out to date units. You have more options in the area don’t fall for this mediocre units.

So I got my military orders early and they tried to say I didn’t make the last months rent payment .. which I clearly have receipts for and bank statements.. there are spiders everywhere can’t even walk up the steps without a panic attack. Get fined for every little thing.. my own car was stolen and they did nothing.. my car was towed and did nothing and I lived here.. cars and packages both been broken into and stolen... began treating me like crap knowing I had early orders to go back out to ...

My biggest regret is not looking up reviews about this apartment complex before moving in. That’s why I’m taking the time to write this so hopefully I can save someone from making the same mistake . Before moving in , you will be shown a model apartment. But don’t be surprised when you come to find out that your apartment looks NOTHING like the model. The apartments are extremely outdated and our washer/dryer ruined our clothes. Which maintenance never managed to fix. After almost a year of being ...
here , the jacuzzi is STILL “under construction”. Not to mention, the flooring here is HORRIFIC!!! Our ceiling would creak throughout the apartment from just our neighbors walking. Also, We could hear every conversation from our upstairs AND downstairs neighbors’. My husband and I are far from high maintnece, but when you pay a higher rent than some of the apartments around the area, you would only hope to get what you pay for . Unfortunately , that is not the case. Do yourself a favor and read the reviews carefully before moving here.

okay when we went to see the apartment everything seem nice the gym the pool the staff but when we moved we so the opposite of what we expected horrible staff they have a lot of issues and rude the apartment that they will show you it's way better than the one you will actually get the kitchen is old washer dryer dishwasher barely work it's one of the most horrible places to live in

By far one of the worst apartments in va beach. We lived here for 6 months. The jucizzi was inoperable the entire time (after we were told it would be repaired within a week of moving in). We did a move out walkthrough with the matainance manager the day we moved out, he gave us no hits and said the apartment was great.. 4 months later we got a bill for $360 for damages in the apartment. After attempting to dispute the charges, they stopped emailing us back after 4 emails, then sent us to a ...
collection agent and threatened us with a court date. I would highly recommend staying as far away from here as possible.

I have lived at Summer Station for about three years now and have been very happy. I moved quite a bit for work over the years and have experiences at MANY different complexes from the central to eastern US. Most were good but have had my share of "dumps." Summer Station ranks high on my list of apartments. I've read the other reviews and have to ask myself about the poor reviews. Just remember that how you treat others is how you will be treated. First, let me address the all important aspect of ...
maintenance. I have only had to contact maintenance on a few occasions and have NEVER had to wait more than THREE HOURS!!! That includes one after hours call in which the response time was WITHIN the hour. Each individual responding was friendly and quickly rectified the issues. Secondly, let's look at the office staff. What a great group! They are friendly and always ready to listen to any ideas to make living here enjoyable. I prefer paying my rent in person, at the office, just to give me the opportunity to interact with the staff. Recently, the complex has been having more social gatherings. This is a great opportunity to meet your neighbors. Next, the property itself is well kept. Landscaping is well maintained. My windows appear to be fairly new and appreciate that they fold in for cleaning. After a couple storms, limbs were quickly picked up and siding damage replaced. Finally let me comment on the cost of rent. When I moved to this area I took my time and investigated many different properties. There are many brand new complexes but they also have, in my opinion, high rental fees. There are cheaper complexes but.....you get what you pay for! Summer Station is affordable, convenient, and a good value for your buck. Barring winning the lottery, I will be renewing my lease again when it is time. I suggest you check it out and talk with the people in the office and I think you will find these are the kind of people you want to work with. I know the drudgery of apartment hunting and I know it's tedious. I hope my comments make your decision a little easier.

Worst place I've ever stayed. Nothing works, maintenance takes forever to fix things because everything is broken, the quality is awful, and it's an unsafe neighborhood. Trying to break my lease because it's worse than my college apartment by far. If you value your property, your children, or your convenience, DON'T SIGN THE LEASE.

Management is horrendous. When our washer destroyed hundreds of dollars' worth of clothes, they pretty much told us "too bad." When our freezer wouldn't work and they took months to fix it, we lost hundreds of dollars' worth of groceries. Again, "too bad." Nothing works. The problem isn't maintenance anymore; they've replaced all the worst people. It's the main management.

I Love this place! Super location in Virginia Beach multiple accesses to expressways, beaches, base's and other Hampton roads cities. Lots of space and quiet The office staff hands down is the best, friendly, and courteous. Maintience staff are equally great, promptly responding to service request, and the grounds are superbly kept. I would and have recommended Summer Station to friends, co-workers.
