AVOID, liars and disrespect

Absolute worst experience. They rent units out as Airbnbs illegally and lie about it. Strangers come and go and prop the doors open of the “secure” building, and they damage the cars of the permanent tenants and throw up in the parking lots. My upstairs neighbor flooded my apartment and they did not assist with any overlapping rent or moving costs but said they “waived the fees” to terminate my lease early. Save yourself the trouble. As the rental market across the metroplex becomes more saturated, corporate rentals for short-term stays are becoming increasingly common in apartment communities. We work exclusively with vetted partners who are responsible for complying with all local ordinances. The city has reviewed our operations and confirmed that we are not in violation. While any concerns about guest behavior are taken seriously and addressed directly, it’s worth noting that we rarely receive complaints of this nature from others in our community. Door propping is a common challenge in multifamily living. Our team routinely removes objects that prevent doors from closing properly, and we encourage all residents to help maintain a secure environment. We understand how stressful water damage can be and regret that you experienced this alongside your other concerns. While leaks are unpredictable, our ...

? 1 Star – DO NOT MOVE HERE! I regret ever considering The Moderne. This place is deceptive, unprofessional, and downright unsafe. I toured twice before leasing and was pushed into a third-floor unit I wasn’t allowed to see. I was told it would be identical to the pristine model units—that was a complete lie. On move-in day, I arrived to: • MOLD in the bathroom, severe water damage, and a filthy dishwasher. • Scratched, stained floors and sloppy paint touch-ups. • Loose fixtures, cracked ...
countertops, and faulty electrical sockets. To make it worse, the elevator was broken, and when I called the leasing office, they ignored my calls. After double-texting, I was told someone would come—40 minutes later. Since then, management has ghosted me. No follow-up, no resolution—just pure neglect. I’ve officially terminated my lease and demanded a full refund. This place is a bait-and-switch scam. If you want clean, safe, and honest leasing practices—LOOK ELSEWHERE. I have videos and photos proving everything I’ve stated and will be escalating this to the Texas Apartment Association, Attorney General’s Office, and the BBB. Avoid this place at all costs!
