Beautiful!!!!
April 5, 2020I loved living here. The most spacious one bedroom I’ve ever rented! A real bang for your buck. Love the amenities. The complex is always hosting an event. The office is very jelly and welcoming. 24 hr maintenance that comes so fast whenever anything breaks. It was awesome!!!!! I even upgraded to the 2 bd 2 1/2 bath townhouse. Loved it. Never heard my neighbors, only saw them coming and going to work. Amazing living experience. Unfortunately I have to relocate to another state for work, but I ...would recommend to anyone looking to move!!!!!Property Manager Responded

Great Complex
March 5, 2020I have been living here for the past 2 years. Unfortunately I am relocating to another state. I have nothing but great things to say about this complex!!!. The apartments are large and spacious. The remodeled kitchen is absolutely beautiful. Over the 2 years that I have lived here Callie, Stephanie, Rob and the other young ladies in the leasing office has handled every concern genuinely and quickly. And the maintenance department is amazing. They fixed any issues quickly and thoroughly. Please ...do not let any less than positive reviews detour you. Terrible
February 15, 2020The apartment carpet job is terrible. There’s wholes in the corners allowing bugs to crawl in and out of. The walls are as thin as my patience. I can hear the downstairs neighbors perfectly keeping me awake all night. The doors slam and shake the entire building. It feels like a college dorm.Property Manager Responded

Feels Like Home
November 24, 2017We recently moved into Thalia Gardens and have found it's beyond comfortable. JB in the office helped with our application process and made sure everything was taken care of. Coming from a house to an apartment we had our concerns. However the floor plan is so spacious and we never hear noise from our neighbors. My family loves it here and the staff seem to "come running" when you call for repairs. They truly don't waste time in making sure you're comfortable and all things within the apartment ...are working as they are intended to. Having made several trips to the store in the middle of the night I can honestly say there is no activity in the parking lot at night. It's quiet and you feel safe going to your car, trash can or wherever. The amount of room you get for the rent you pay is amazing. I couldn't believe that I could run my apartment and utilities for so much less than I was paying for just rent elsewhere. Lastly the location is great. You really are minutes from everything. The school district for Elementary is amazing as well. We came from Norfolk where the schools are a horrible joke. If you haven't put your application in already then I don't know what you're waiting for. Seriously, stop looking because you wont find another place like Thalia Gardens anywhere.Property Manager Responded

Not dog friendly AT ALL
November 21, 2017This apartment complex claims to be dog friendly but there are never any poop bags at the poop stations and there is no space for dogs to play. I understand that poop bags at the service stations aren't a "necessity" but when you're out walking your dog and suddenly run out of your own bags, having a back up option helps keep the grounds clean. The tennis courts say no dogs allowed & if you let your well behaved dog off leash you will get reprimanded and told that you're breaking your ...lease. After paying a $300 one time pet fee & $30 a month pet rent PER PET, I am sure that Thalia Gardens has enough money to build a basic dog park. There is plenty of green space to throw up 4 fences & create an off leash space for dogs. Thalia Gardens hypes up how dog friendly they are, however, they need follow through and truly be dog friendly and they need to stop making their dog owners feel unwelcome.Property Manager Responded

What a gem!
September 6, 2017My husband and I decided to move when we found out we were expecting and stumbled across an absolute gem in Thalia Gardens. The apartments are updated with beautiful kitchens and are so spacious. You get so much bang for the buck here! When we went to take a tour, the ladies in the office were so nice and they all worked together and even seemed to have fun while they worked. The girl who toured us doesn't work there anymore but the rest are still there and we love the atmosphere of the office ...and they are always putting on good events. When we go in to pay our rent they are so friendly even though it is super busy. Maintenance is great too. Sherry is super nice and Steve is my favorite tech. He always does a great job with a smile. Sometimes neighbors don't clean up after their pets and there are times when I can hear people in the hallway but you have to expect some inconvenience in an apartment complex. Overall I am very happy and I would highly recommend Thalia Gardens to anyone looking for a first home or even more space!!Property Manager Responded

Office Retaliates Against Complaints

Great
September 30, 2015This is the perfect area to take walks and the stores are near. The Public library is also close by. The location is not far from my sons school.
