Buyer Beware: Heat Not Included
December 24, 2022Beautiful building, unbeatable location, lovely staff, and great residence. Horrible management, headed bye a board president, who cares more about money than anything else. It doesn’t matter how cold it gets outside, your apartment will only get a minimal amount of heat so that the building can’t get in trouble with the city. It is never ever ever comfortably warm during the winter. I have three space heaters in my apartment, and I am told that, 90% of the other apartments have space heaters ...also. Your electric bill will skyrocket in the winter if you are like me and can’t stand being cold in your own environment and have to remedy that with electric heat. Complaining gets nowhere. The most important thing to our board is saving money, not providing a basic comfort. Caveat emptor. Beware. Carefully consider whether you or someone who likes your home to be 70° or higher.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
