Welcome to The Chelsea House! *** We rent Individual Private BEDROOMS, not Apartments *** We hope you will consider us as the next place you call home! We offer private bedrooms in a safe, quiet, property. Located on E. Main Street, you will be next door to bus stops, and the hospital, and down the road from downtown Somerville. All rooms come furnished with a fresh twin-sized bed and a clean refrigerator. Microwaves are allowed, but hot plates and other electrical cooking appliances are not. All utilities are included in the rent, however, wasting utilities is prohibited.

When I was in need, this property was a life saver. It was place that gave me a key to a door with a number on it. When I shut that door, I had privacy. The WIFI craze wasn't that popular as it now, and I had privacy. I wasn't homeless anymore. I only had a sink and microwave in a small room, but it was considered my place. It was taken care of by a woman named Judy and a friend she always got help from. An older man but strong. He was very loyal to her. This woman paved the parking lot all by ...
herself! The rent was paid every two weeks. Everything was included. You know you need more of these kind of rooming houses for people who are single and just trying to get back on their feet, no more than two years stay. I had to leave a review because the place is still standing and still trying to help anyone in need. Kudos to the Chelsea House! Back then, I would give it 3 stars, I hope some funding made it better now.
