What I've learned after one month
April 15, 2025When I decided to move to The Collective, there were a few things I wish I had known. First, the good: The landscaping is mostly rocks, but it is well-maintained, clean, and when the cherry or plum trees bloom, perfume is in the air. The fitness room is good, there's a heated soaking pool open during the winter, and the neighbors all seem nice and pretty considerate. The place is dog-friendly (as are most of the dogs), and I have not seen any gang tattoos. You don't hear screams, I've heard ...gunshots (fireworks?) only once, and the office staff are helpful. The bad: The rent seems good until all the monthly nickel and diming gets added in: $6 or 3% for most payments, $10 per car, and $144 for shared grounds maintenance, water, electricity, and lots of little stuff. The pool and fitness area are frequently padlocked, The large-item boxes are not used by delivery people, and I've had a UPS box of electronics sitting in front of my mailbox because the package box was not used. Reliable locks are beyond the locksmith, there is very high staff turnover, and the apartment design is wanting; for example, the fridge won't open to 90 degrees because it is blocked by baseboard heating, the insect control service is obnoxious, the kitchen is small and much of the storage is veneer instead of functional. If you're locked out or complain about the noise after midnight (most nights) you can call 24 hour number, but they don't answer or respond to messages. In sum, The Collective, and their four adjacent properties, are okay, but I look forward to finding a better place when my lease expires.Read MoreReview from Apartments.com
Properties Unmaintained
June 25, 2023Management refuses to resolve maintenance requests. Leak in bathroom, was told there is no leak and they fixed it with the a screw. Leak got worse. Has been effecting electrical systems - lights, stove. Amenities are generally broken - year round sauna is rarely available. Many broken exercise equipments. Evicted after no notice, and having had our rent check denied multiple times, even when they had taken the check from us, and mailed it back days later after they had applied a new late fee. ...Apartments also have holes in outer walls, allowing critters to enter. Rats are found in winter dead around property.Property Manager Responded

Not what it once was
June 25, 2018Trying to catch the attention of staff with poor reviews and save people the hassle of becoming unhappy tenants! Lived here in its prime when the property was well maintained, a problem was solved in an afternoon, and I felt safe and comfortable. Fast forward to today, where rats and trash are abundant, parking is not. Free laundry means waiting hours for a washer and when you get one, if they aren’t all broken, it is a disgusting mess. Want to spend your summers relaxing by the pool? Well you ...can, just don’t get in it or the hot tub either as they have been deemed unsafe by the city of Denver. I cannot blame the office staff as they always seem busy and handling every situation they possibly can, I will blame the new greedy company who came in and screwed us over. I’m sure Scrooge is in the back counting all the money he collects from us as we suffer without water for days, wade through the dog poop and weeds overflowing onto the sidewalk to reach our car on the other side of the property, and listen to our screaming neighbors till 1 AM. It’s a shame and I don’t see any hope for change. Zero stars.Property Manager Responded
June 27, 2018Thank you for your feedback. Infinity Flats has free laundry facilities, but unfortunately, we have no control over how residents misuse the machines or do no clean up after themselves. We are working hard to hire more housekeeping staff to keep up with the demand. As far as the pool being closed, it was shut down for 48 hours at the beginning of June due to a resident breaking a glass in it and it wasn’t safe to swim. We fixed the issues and put out a notice to residents reminding them of the pool rules.
