BEWARE OF BAIT AND SWITCH
May 16, 2022If I could have gave ZERO!!! I came here in April to rent an apartment. I was shown the model and I was told that my apartment would look just like the model. I asked if the doors, countertops, kitchen cabinets closet doors wound all be the same. I was assured that everything down to new carpet in bedrooms would be replaced. I explained that I couldn’t move until May 15, she said that was no problem. I apply and paid the $200 to hold the apartment. I was approved and then received a email that I ...had to sign the lease before 10 days of lease being produced or pay another $50. This was April 27 and I was not moving in until May 14 nor have I seen the apartment I am renting only a model. I told her I wanted to see the apartment before I sign lease. She said oh it looks just like the model I showed you, no worries. Someone is still living in the unit until first of the month. On Thursday May 12th I came to office with a check and asked to see or could I get the keys earlier to the unit. I was told they were not finished fixing, and cleaning. I had to wait until Saturday 14th my move in date. On Saturday morning at 10am when office open I was to pick up keys. I was still at Uhaul picking up my truck. She calls me at 10:10am asking when I was coming to pick up my keys. That she wasn’t going to be in office all day and was leaving. I told her that I’m on my way. I get keys and she makes me sign a BLANK move in checklist without seeing the unit. Which at first I refused to sign but she wouldn’t give me the keys otherwise. I get keys and go in smh the bedroom carpets are wet, the doors are not same and have holes, chipped paint, there’s pet hair everywhere, yellow stains on baseboards and doors frames from pet urine. The cabinets in kitchen are damaged, have holes, don’t match, won’t close all the way. The dishwasher isn’t mounted in and fell out on me. The stove is filthy with used drip pans, pet hair stuck to bottom. The closet doors are scratched, dented, chipped and pet hair was painted to most of them. The outlets won’t hold plugs. The bathrooms don’t have safety outlets. The tub and toilet are slow draining and clogged. There’s yellow stains in and cat litter in bathroom closet. I stopped my movers and moved my bed and some boxes, clothes, and bathroom cabinet in, no furniture. I couldn’t get on the wifi and when I called Spectrum told me that the last resident is still in ResidentPortal. I took pictures and went to lease office. New owners, same nonsense
July 22, 2019AC went out for the third time since I have lived here. Called the office at 3pm to report the issue. Said someone would come right out. Called again right before 5pm and another worker told me the issue hadn’t been reported. Tried to call maintenance, who didn’t answer (way to go 24 hour maintenance availability ). Left me on hold and only could tell me she would keep calling maintenance. These new owners are not what they said they would be. Very disappointed.Review from Apartments.com

June 26, 2019This place just got new owners and even though they are remodeling the place it's a Rip off. Use caution because whatever your rent is add anywhere from $50 to $100 per month as they make you pay for water, garbage, pest control and admin fees. Clogged bathroom sink over 2 weeks
March 15, 2019My apartment bathroom sink is always stopping up this is the 4th time I’ve had to call and have them come unclog the drain this year! I called almost 2 weeks ago and my sinks are still clogged I went to the leasing office 2 days ago and asked them why no one has came out. But I see plenty of people out working and renovating the new apartments EVERYDAY as if they don’t care about the older ones. Great place, so so area
July 23, 2015I have lived here for 3 years and I have to say its the best apartment I have lived in. The landlord owns several of the units and personally takes care of most maintenance issues. If he cant resolve it he will find someone that can within a couple days. I even drop my rent at his personal home. The only thing that I have to complain about is the area, its a lower income area surrounding it, but the apartments are private and much nicer. Its loud due to its proximity to the road and a bus stop. ...All new appliances, very nice cabinets, great layout, great landlord. Fantastic Place
August 2, 2015I've only lived here for about a month and I could not be happier with my choice. The community is quite and well kept up. I had an issue with my doorknob and the office staff got it fixed for me within 15 minutes of me telling them about the issue. For the price, you won't find a better deal. The price attracted me to this community and it has not disappointed. The office and maintenance staff are helpful and friendly.
