San Rocco apartments
July 30, 2018Very hypocritical management. Rules were no smoking at all. Management and tenants smoke everywhere you’ll find random cigarette butts. Rule changed when a new management came in. You couldn’t smoke within several feet of your building and you still see people outside smoking. Rules for commercial cars aren’t applied to everyone. Cars get broken into and no one knows anything. I believe as of May 1st, 2018. They got a new management avannah and they haven’t fixed any maintenance portal or rent ...portal. Today’s July 30th, 2018. They never tell you what you owe for rent even when you ask. They say. “We don’t have that information yet”. Maintaince comes and goes from your house unannounced. They say they’re going to do something and they don’t. Takes months for repairs and leaks to be fixed. And you have to wait it out or pay for the extra water leaking. San Rocco Apartments
October 12, 2017Very aggressive maintenance, one worker threw his food at my partner (also a paying tenant) after our home had been broken into in broad daylight straight across from the office on the third floor. When my partner went downstairs to tell them of the invasion, they were of no help. They were not sympathetic in any way. Months ago we had asked for a lock guard and extra lock to be put in (multiple times) and they said they’d get to it. Never happened, so someone broke in and took our things. When ...my partner went downstairs, Jose (maintenance) threw his unfinished food at him when they were questioned about their security measures. When the police showed up, they lied to them and told them they didn’t have footage of it, even though there’s a giant sign in the office saying you are under video surveillance. . When things break, we immediately put work orders in to get them fixed, but most are ignored. Our AC has been broken since day 1, along with our dryer. When he renewed our lease, we were told those things would be replaced/fixed. When they do show up, they leave marks on our walls and dirt everywhere. We have to clean up after them every time they come in, even if it’s just to look at the problem. This is NOT a good or safe area, it is notorious for burglaries of cars and apartments. My car has been vandalized twice in the parking lot over the past three years we have been there, and there’s hardly enough parking in the first place. I will just say that this complex is run by completely incompetent people. I would never suggest a McKinely or Avanath apartment to anyone. I’m sure the one other review here is from one of the workers. Even though it may be cheaper, it may not be worth the hassle. If you are looking at an Avanath or McKinley apartment, please reconsider.
