In the three months I've lived here, the AC has stopped working 4 times (which isn't even safe given how hot it gets here). I've had to submit SO many maintenance requests, but the fixes are always short term and the air just stops working again. One time it took a week to get it fixed while the apartment was 84-86 degrees. There have also been multiple instances in which the property has sent messages meant for one resident to all the residents. These messages have included private and sensitive ...

information about residents. It's incredibly unprofessional behavior. Getting appliances fixed really feels like playing Whac-A-Mole - as soon as one is working again, another one breaks. Coming from a current resident, save yourself the frustration and sweat and live somewhere else.

I’ve lived her almost a year now and there’s definitely a few things they could improve on. Walls are extremely thin, the people above me stomp and wake me up all the time. We had a roach problem for months, we complained to them 6 times and they never did anything. The only reason we stopped having roaches was because the upstairs neighbors moved out so they probably weren’t very clean people. Dog crap where people walk. Parking isn’t that great. They need new carpets. Other than that it’s not ...

too bad. I enjoy it. Nice rooms, walk in closets, good living room area, 2 gyms, 2 pools, and even a little game room. Staff is friendly. 7/10

Best place I lived at during college

I lived here for 2 years, and you can’t beat the situation of this place… for the price. This was easily my favorite place I stayed at. Pros: trail to campus, 4 bed/4 bath, elevated ceilings, fully furnished, cheap, 2 gyms, basketball court, and 2 pools. Cons: We had a roach/fruit fly/spider/bird problem while we were here, thin walls, dog poop everywhere, crappy neighbors. Overall though, 4/5 for sure.

When I first moved here, it was named “the pointe”, I had a decent stay here,. However, the next year while living here new MONEY HUNGRY management took over. Never fixed things, and were rude whenever I went to the front for a concern. When i moved out, they charged me a move out fee of “$100” for a old damaged mattress. How could you over charge someone for furniture you had no idea how it looked before I even moved in. They are money hungry, and will overcharge residents.

The maintenance service is excellent, I always have my things fixed the same day I fill in the work order. The apartments are very big and include great amenities. It's a 9 to 10 min walk to campus so no need to drive to school.

Unprofessional and truly awful

I’m honestly not sure who was paid to write these reviews because I do not know a single person who enjoys living here. The management staff is wildly unprofessional. One night they towed my car, made me pay to get it out, and then charged me for it. There are roaches and mold in the air conditioning unit. Overall living here has been miserable and I would not recommend anyone paying for their child to live here

Good place to live if you go to MSU

This is a good place to live if you go to MSU because you can walk to campus. They also have some of the best parking of all the apartments in Starkville. These apartments are also dog-friendly with is great!

Gosh this place is terrible. Parking is terrible and residents are careless drivers. The complex took out two, much needed stop signs! Also, roommate matching is a joke. They put me with two loud, partying, immature roommates with animals, even though I specified for the opposite. The walls are incredibly thin, so you can hear everything going on in the entire apartment unit. Utilities overages are always popping up. They even tried to charge me an overage for a maintenance job. Something is ...

always broken or not working quite right. Staff is rude and unprofessional. They have a bunch of college kids working the desk, so they don't think they have to act like professional adults. Staff wouldn't answer my calls or emails to tell me anything about moving in after I signed my lease. I guess since they already had my signature they didn't have to care to treat me like a PAYING customer. Don't let management trick you into believing they care. Honestly, a terrible place to stay. It is nice that you can walk to campus, but it is not worth it. The only way to like living here is to already have your own roommates, not care if you have to park on the other side of the complex(or not at all in the complex), and hope nothing breaks in your apartment. Also, I am pretty sure they have the staff come rate this place on the website because I have not met anyone who actually likes it here, but that's just my conspiracy theory.
