Every year I have an issue with lack of heat ,they say my apartment is cold because its cold outside,REALLY turn on the heat & it will not be a problem, the temperature is below what is required by the state to be safe ,EVERY YEAR , its starting to get old at this point would not recommend living here if you want what you pay for

I’ve been living here for coming up on one year now, and it’s been really great. Having to move home due to family concerns, but honestly I’d absolutely consider renting here again if I end up back in the area. My building has a nice semi private entrance area (4 doors per floor entrance from stairs) and is very comfortable. While pricy on paper, having only electric and internet to pay is great! Good amenities, neighbors are either polite, or keep to themselves, haven’t had a single rude ...
encounter. Had minimal interaction with management outside of initial leasing but they were nice! Maintenance is really prompt and professional, when our AC went out in august, they were there in under an hour with a brand new AC unit and replaced it. Laundry rooms are large and comfortable, and way better than other places I’ve lived for sure, never seen any of them out of order either. 4 machines of each type in my building, and it’s paid from a phone app (or laundry card) which tells you when your laundry is almost done.
Only “gripes” would be some small drywall cracking here and there, but still far better than other places I’ve lived. Doors are fairly thin, so from the hallway units main rooms can be heard a bit, and being near the door does let sound in, but otherwise rarely hear any noises from neighbors inside the unit itself, despite being close to the road, can’t hear it with windows shut (unit has 2018 windows that seal well in my unit!) but it can be heard with the windows open. If that is a concern, ask about apartments further into the complex, but doesn’t bother me much besides the occasional semi or siren.
Snow removal can sometimes be slow, but for the size of the complex and the parking amount it makes sense. If one of us gets to it before they come, often another tenant shovels and salts the walkway, as those supplies are left by each door in the snowy months which is nice to dig out cars too. Complex is well lit- it doesn’t feel dark or unsafe in any of the hallways, stairways, or parking lot- well lit indoors and out. Plenty of dumpsters without having to travel too far, as they’re at the end of each section of parking lot and have 1-2 per building. Zero pests seen indoors at least on the third floor and in the laundry room and hallway, but never seen any in the storage room either. Lots of parking. Overall, I would and have recommended this complex to my friends and family, and hope to find my way back here as a tenant again in the future.

I highly recommend living here. I had the best time here management us so nice and helpful and everything is kept nice. Management is right there when you need something and they get it done. The pool is nicely clean and well kept the pool is actually heated. They just do a amazing and awesome job. There a some issues but other than that they are nice?

The management is poor and not tenant friendly. They increase rent $40 every year, which is odd as compare to $15-$20 previous years. $40 for same floor plan without any renovations and upgrade
They will find a way to charge you, one way or the other. The staff are not friendly except Debbie and Angela.
Better be safe than sorry, Stay away from this apartments!!

I’ve been living here for a little over a year. I love the amenities. My building is quiet and friendship; and the complex is full of diverse people. They do a great job of keeping the property looking great. They fix maintenance issues within 24-48hrs. If it’s an emergency they are prompt to addressing the issue. My only complaint is that the ac box is in the living and doesn’t stretch to the bedrooms.

Poor application process

I was not a resident here, but I was in the process of applying. After two weeks of waiting on credit checks and background checks to go through and constantly calling for updates I was informed, after we paid the application fee, that yes, they do allow pets but our pet had to be a year old. This was a large detail that they conveniently forgot to mention until after I paid the application fee. The whole thing was a waste of time and money.

They seriously should consider renovation. The whole place smells of damp stuff or some curry.

We were hesitant to live in an apartment complex after several years of renting single family homes, but The Meadows has exceeded all expectations! It has a great location very convenient to I-94 and stores/restaurants. The amenities are great--pools, tennis courts, gym, clubhouse, playground, volleyball court and new grill area are usually available and never too crowded! The office and maintenance staff are extremely friendly and responsive--we have never had an issue and will continue to live ...

This is for the most part a very nice and centrally-located place to live. There are two pools that are kept nice (although I and most highly disagree with the "heated" part for both!), a nice central play area for kids (that could really be redone; jungle gym is pretty rundown and in need of repair), the facility itself is nice, the grass areas are kept up very nicely, and if the apartments themselves were more modern and kept up, this would be the ultimate place to live. I've lived here now for seven years for several reasons but summed into one: No other apt complex can compete!! It's centrally located and close to the freeway and many stores and restaurants. The apartments are kept up nice, a noisy or disruptive neighbor is rare, and management is quick to deal with the rare incidents. The office staff changed a couple years ago and i couldn't be happier. There was never a problem before then, but since, they have replaved the lots, added more recycling ...
dumpsters, installed doggy stations and the maintenance team is awesome! They are quick to respond and trustworthy.... And they are awesome cooks during community cook outs! While my neighbor and I have discussed that we do lock up, we don't feel like there's a real need to, which is a great feeling! Plus you cannot beat the ammenities and the bang you get for your buck: Two outdoor heated pools, tennis courts, 24-hr fitness center, sauna, sand volleyball court, entertainment center and more!! Residents are active, friendly and respectful in my experience.
