Wonderful property management team with exceptional customer service and resident engagement. That said I was unhappy with the age of the property, specifically the creakiness of the hardwood floors and stairs, as well as the relatively expensive energy costs associated with older properties and their outdated insulation. Namely, the natural gas bill for winter-time heating. Lastly, the apartment complex can do nothing about this, but the lack of a restroom fan in the bathroom and the size of ...
the bathroom overall and round-style toilet. I would highly recommend this apartment for the single urban dweller or tiny young single-family. Decent amenities for the price, but if they found a way to incorporate a once weekly trash pick up so that residents didn’t have to walk 10 miles to the dumpster nearest their apartment—for maybe an added surcharge—that would be incredible! Especially for residents such as myself that are completely and totally disabled. Also let us leave longer reviews!

Northside Merrimon is a friendly community. Its secure. The staff at the facility are very competent and helpful. The location is very convenient as well, just 2 miles from Asheville downtown.
