HORRIBLE SERVICE

The customer service for the leasing office is beyond horrible and disgusting. Lori is nice and sweet for you to sign your lease after that its downhill from there. She's very disrespectful and rude. Maintenance is even worst! I'll never reccomend anyone to live here

My first year was great but after that it went downhill fast. My storage unit was robbed and my apartment had some issues that no one would want. It was always an annoyance to get a response from the front office. Then when I finally moved out, I did not receive anything for my security deposit. I was told I missed a few of my gas payments. The units run a shared gas bill based on the amount of people living in each. I was always charged for a minimum of 1 extra person. Every time I ...
complained, I was apologized to and told that the amount owed to me would cover the next bill and that I should not pay the next month. Then a few months later, they would add an extra person back onto my bill. The walls are beyond thing and you can hear everything. I heard the units were updated, but besides for a convenient location, there is nothing good about it.

Lived Here for Two Years - Excellent!

We lived here for two years and the experience was great. The location is excellent and the complex is perfect for families and singles. The Property Manager is very helpful and responsive - any maintenance requests were promptly and thoroughly addressed. The Property Manager answered all our questions and helped us many times with our application and while we lived here. We never had any problems. parking. Restaurants and shopping are within walking distance. The grounds are well-maintained and clean. There is a private pool - which is really great during the summer. We looked at many apartments in Oak Park before moving here and this one was definitely the nicest one. We moved because of work and would definitely have stayed here if we could. We miss living at the Oaks on Lincoln already. Besides the apartment itself - which was excellent - the Property Manager was very helpful and accommodating and made living here a very pleasant and hassle-free experience.

Garbage Apartments and Townhouses

Horrible place to live. Garbage bins are always filled. No snow removal until days later then lots of salt is thrown on porches and sidewalks. Nothing is fixed in a timely manner. Management is rude and unprofessional. Rent continues to go up year after year. Carpet cleaners are a joke. Do not move here, you will be sorry.

We have spent the last two years at Oaks on Lincoln and have nothing but good things to say. Management is friendly and always helpful. Any issues we have ever had have been fixed quickly. Our daughters enjoy playing in the yard and swimming in the pool, and there are several parks/playgrounds within walking distance. We have always felt safe here, and we have never had any issues with our property being stolen or vandalized. There are many restaurants close by in Berkley and Royal Oak. Overall, ...

I have been a resident for 3 years now, and I have no complaints. The units themselves are very nice, well kept up and clean. I have no problem with the surrounding area, its safe and I spend plenty of time outdoors running around the neighborhoods, I've never felt unsafe. Great location, reasonable prices!

I lived at this complex for roughly 9 months and had to relocate for work recently. The location of the complex is very central and it has access to the freeway that you can get to within one minute. This was beyond convenient for me as I am always on the go! Neighbors were very quiet, mostly families, couples, and singles residing in the complex. They were all very respectful and I never had any issues with noise. The manager and maintenance employee were always on top of things. The one time I ...

I wish I had more nice things to say about this place. The actual apartment itself was pretty nice. It was clean and when I first moved in maintenance was fast with my requests. As time moved on I have had several terrible experiences here. In the past eight months, we have had police here numerous times for the following reasons: "squatters" living in the basement and two break-ins (the outside doors were completely kicked in with wood splintering). Unfortunately, the current landlord refused to ...
believe the first one was a break in because it was an ex-boyfriend of a current resident. Rather than comforting the residents, she was adamant that this was not considered a break in even though the outside door and a resident door was kicked in completely to the point the door longer functioned. In addition, she did not inform the rest of the complex residents even when I told her directly it would be the safest thing to do considering there are elderly and children living here. I really had hoped this place would be a community area, but from my experience, it is not a safe place to live. Please avoid living here if possible and I would hate to see another innocent person get subjected to the crime in the area.
