The staff was terrible. The maintenance was terrible. The community was extremely unsafe. Our apartment was broken into. When we moved out we gave 60 days notice and left with 30 days of rent paid. We were told someone could take over our lease so that we wouldn't have to pay any fees. We placed an ad on craigslist and had many responses. However, the management told us after the fact that we could not transfer our lease because we had already turned in the keys. We asked why they didn't explain ...
that before we left, and said since we made the keys on our own we would have held onto them and giving them directly to the person we were transferring the lease to to save $1400 in fees.

WORD OF ADVICE ASK TO SEE THE APARTMENT YOU ARE ACTUALLY GOING TO LIVE IN........They showed me the model room (which was nice) then after I signed my lease and was tied by law to the contract (which by the way cost $4,000.00 to break) my apartment looked like a crack house. There was a hole on the wall the size of a large canvas which was poorly covered in cheap plaster, the cabinets were peeling off with fake wood, the kitchen top was white with numerous stains, the carpet smelled, the walls ...
had marks and filth, the patio was filthy, the bath tub had residue (which I had to clean) I literally made a complaint and listed all that was wrong with the apartment. I couldn't afford the $4,000 to break the lease so I bleached it and bought sooooo many candles from Bath and body works. They literally will take your whole deposit when they give you the apartment in DIRE conditions. I do not recommend this place. PLEASE SPEND AN EXTRA 100 bucks and go elsewhere. cant even give this place a star. The staff has extremely high turnover, the communication time is delayed by days. I lived here for a year and my neighbors stole from my patio. I made numerous complaints to management, and there was nothing done about it. My upstairs neighbor were extremely loud at all hours of the day and night (felt like a group of elephants lived above me). I AM EXTREMELY DISSAPOINTED...............

i have only lived in my apartment for a little over a month but i really like it so far! the staff is awesome... they answer any maintenance request i have, they are always very friendly at the office and they even have developed a great relationship w/ my grandma who visits a lot but does not live w/ me!!... im really happy to be at the pines and plan to stay for as long as possible!!
