    Due to unforeseen circumstances we needed to move to somewhere more accessible friendly and this has been a great find. the amenities are a great addition as well. Everyone has been so friendly so far and we can’t wait to finally call this place home!

    The staff here is excellent and the neighborhood is great for walking. The amenities are nicely organized and the I like the generous touch of the coffee etc in the lobby.

    It’s a great location and the amenities and staff are very nice. It is a bit noisy from traffic noise in apartments facing the west side. I would recommend it to anyone who wants a nice, accessible place in the city.

    Great location, but we have had a ton of issues from a maintenance standpoint and had to put in so many requests to eventually get hot water and it just took forever. Renewing the lease process has been difficult as well.

    The building is beautiful, the staff members are very friendly and the amenities are wonderful. I’m hoping to receive a notification soon that the outdoor pool is heated. I think I was told it was heated 9 months of the year. The frequency of trash pick up from the trash rooms could be improved. It tends to pile up quickly.

  • Proceed with Caution—Beautiful Views, But Beware of Management

    I initially loved The View at Old City for its stunning surroundings and convenient location near cultural attractions and restaurants. However, after extending my lease for six months, serious problems arose. I gave proper notice of my move-out date, yet management claimed I owed a two-month break fee, insisting I’d agreed to stay longer. They even tried to say I’d extended for an entire extra year. Only after involving my lawyer did they concede their mistake. Staff turnover is high, ...
    communication is inconsistent, and it feels like they bank on residents paying to avoid conflict. While the amenities and views are genuinely appealing, be prepared to keep detailed records and verify all paperwork—legal help may be necessary. Though the setting is gorgeous, these oversight and billing issues can make living here a headache. In my experience, The View at Old City could be great if management were more reliable. Proceed with caution, read every clause, and stay vigilant. Otherwise, you might find the scenic views overshadowed by unexpected fees and unnecessary disputes.

    You towed my guest's car with no notice to me. The trash rooms are disgusting. Every week is an email begging residents to not overflow the trash rooms, but there is nothing to ensure the rooms get cleaned on weekends. The door by the loading dock is often unsecured. The management is unorganized. I gave notice I was moving and was told that I was on a lease for longer than another year! This is a deceptive practice. The location is unparalleled.

    I like living here. I have all I need within walking distance like markets and transportation. I also enjoy some of the events that we have. My apartment is a spacious studio that’s a good fit for me.

    My wife and I do not feel safe in the building due to the number of large dogs which includes a cane corso and another very large mastiff. Also, there is dog urine in the elevator at least twice a week.

    Renewed my lease for the second time. New manager is improving the building and it’s turned into an enjoyable place to live! Dog park and proximity to bridge and 95 are the highlights for me.
