    Hello, It was raining the day I moved in (buckets). My moving crew was stuck in Philly traffic, and the hours to return the PODS were ticking down. The POD was parked in the loading dock area. The maintenance guy was very nice to let us stay there as long as we didn't block the area for the trash truck. What a relief! I've been here for about 2 weeks. So far, no problems. The staff is very nice and welcoming. More importantly, they know you my name. Your new home awaits Essence

    There are some positives. The neighborhood is great, parking is convenient, and having a pool in the city is great. But this is not a luxury community as described. Landscaping goes undone for weeks at a time with high grass growing in the summer. Maintenance requests sometimes get handled quickly, but other times not. One of two elevators has been inoperable for over a month, increasing wait times and making it impossible to get to the roof unless you go to the fourth floor and walk up. There is ...
    no AC in the hallways, so they get pretty hot and muggy in the summer. The units are pretty nice, high ceilings and decent insulation to weather and sound. Finishes in the units are fine, but not luxury.

    Space for money is great but trash rooms are disgusting and amenities are bare minimum. Staff has constant turnover with little care for residents. Snow removal was horrendous this year and dangerous. No prep or after storm care was completed for almost a week, no other properties in the area still had ice and snow before removal.

    Very pleasant and rewarding experience. I’m close to the doggie park where I can see the play and enjoy. I’m close to all the major transit systems and walking distance to some amazing restaurants and bistros in the area.

    Very nice living space. Always clean and decorated well. Amenities always clean and looking good too. The only issues I have had are that the circuits are not strong can’t handle two things at once and have to go to the breaker box often. The air also has issues time to time with freezing/breaking, but maintenance is always on it the next day.
