Circle Towers issue
February 18, 2023This is the most worst trillium apartments in the Fairfax from my 2 years of experience living in this place. Bad service, hot water shuts down at least 3 times every week, poor conditions and help service doesn’t help at all. Gyms equipments are all broken, bathrooms are closed 24/7 , pool is always closed, dirty plaza, broken roads and etc. Do not recommend for people out there looking for a place to live!!!Property Manager Responded

Dirty and unsafe
December 6, 2022Trash everywhere, it usually smells like urine(because people pee in the stairwells),the fire alarms go off constantly, drunk drivers in the parking lot, dog attacks, the pool is randomly closed most days in the summer, kids everywhere unsupervised, your packages will get stolen, and don't be surprised if people try to break into your apartment.Property Manager Responded

Dirty, Smelly, Broken
August 7, 2022Do NOT bother with this hell hole. Only been here 2 months and the pool is only open 50% of the time... folks jump the fence to use the "amenity" we pay $25/mo for. The gym a/c never works, the single bathroom there has trash all over the place and the sink doesn't work. There are two elevators for 12 floors and one is ALWAYS broken. One is currently down and has been for a week so far since July 30. The firemen came to let someone out and it's been down since. If you have to take the stairs, be ...prepared to smell urine and get sticky shoes. No freight elevator so moving in/out is a major hassle. Everything is old and broken. My aunt lived here in the early 80s and... it looks the same. Nothing is upgraded. Do not be fooled by the fancy apartments they show online. These are not what the have. Old buildings, constant water shutoffs and AC problems.
June 21, 2021Summer is awful here. It has been 83°+ for days now. Sometimes it will be fixed enough to dip down to the high 70s but it will inevitably break again. If the water works, only hot water OR cold water will come out of the faucet- you will never get both at once. There are constant emergency water shutoffs (10+ the past few months alone), sometimes with no advanced notice. I have woken up many times only to have absolutely no water. When you do have water, you will also be treated to a ...delightful grinding & sputtering noise. Sometimes it comes out discolored, too. Every few months you will be required to clear out all of your kitchen cabinets and closets so they can spray pesticides, because cockroaches are a huge issue. You also cannot access your apartment for hours afterwards and must evacuate any pets. This will only be done during business hours so you may have to take time off. Notice the star rating on this website has nothing to do with the actual reviews. Please don't be fooled. Average the stars yourself- this place is awful.Property Manager Responded

Extremely poor communication and maintenance
May 18, 2021Things were okay for a while even with some unexpected features of the apartment but they quickly went downhill. Packages have been stolen regularly. We requested footage for the police report and have not received it. Our washer/dryer unit was the only reason we chose this place and it broke within a few weeks of moving in. We still do not have it repaired over a month later and have had to use the communal one, which tends to flood. While we do understand parts being on backorder, ...communication has been very poor and we have no timeline for repair and no mention of replacement. Water is regularly shut off for emergency repairs. Just looking at my e-mail, it looks like it's been 5x in two and a half months. We cannot take showers half the time, and forget baths. This is another help ticket that has been sitting unanswered for 2 weeks. I just tried to take a bath this morning and it took an hour to fill the tub to 5 inches before I gave up and the grinding of the pipes started driving me crazy. Some other things to note: - Walls are thin. Noise is not enforced well- our neighbor has a bass that can be heard from the elevator and regularly wakes us and our other neighbors up at ~1-3am on weekdays. They have an overnight security crew which is nice, but after a few calls they stopped bothering to show up (we have a peephole camera and can tell). - Washer/dryer and dishwasher need to be switched between. They cannot use both at once. - Only heat or AC is on at one time. We had a few days of 80°+ weather with no option for AC. You can expect to have it turned on mid-May. - We have seen bugs but not many thankfully. We keep our food sealed so that helps. I would recommend looking elsewhere.Property Manager Responded

Poor service team
October 5, 2020I have been trying to reach the management team for over a week now through email, phone, and visiting the office in person (during business hrs). I still have not received a rely to my emails, or phone calls. the office was also locked an empty every time I went. Don’t do it.
August 31, 2020I don’t know where to begin, but If you are descent couples or family looking for nice place to live and answer is this isn’t the place for you. I recently moved to this place and The biggest mistake in my life. You will never find your peace here. First week I moved here I have found a lot of trash on my balcony. I thought it was the people live near me didn’t like me. I tried to be patients. But that’s not the case. Most of the people who live here are nasty. Two weeks ago I invited my ...family to barbecue area. People are throwing water bottle, trash to the Grande. But we try to ignore it until two people throw a diaper with poop inside it. My family are very disappointed that I moved here I am very ashamed. They thought the place as free place to live or shelter. As far as maintenance worst if you have reported to get Fix something They will never come and fix it. This is my second months except the AC they have a fix nothing at all. Everything you touch will broke and the best thing to do find place to put the broken stuff in. One of the Elevator always broke down and from all the two months it only work work 2 times. Only 1 elevator working and waiting time is greater then 5mins. The management will give you an excuse saying that we just took over the management and they will improve it soon. But they even cannot control the wild people who trashing the area They have a lot of security camera all over they can easily find them but they ignoring it.Property Manager Responded

The Worst Living
July 30, 20191. Issues with Flood Twice: About 10:00 in the morning of January 25, when the wash machine in my apartment would not stop flowing water to the kitchen, I immoderately reported the management. It was not just leaking and was strong stream of water. However, until the residents below my unit in the downstairs reported "emergency" when the water was leaking from their ceiling, about 4:00 in the afternoon on the next day, nobody came to my apartment to even look at the situation. The carpets and all ...of my belongs and furniture, including many area rugs, five bookcases, and others, in the kitchen, the dining room, the hallway, and some parts of the living room were completely soaked in about four inches of water. Finally on February 4th, the maintenance person fixed it. However, the wash machine was letting water out again. All of the carpets, belongs, and furniture got completely wet again. When I wanted to discuss this issue with the general manager, he did not admit any negligence on the management part. Moreover, he did not even give me any chance to talk to him. Instead, he just left me as soon as he finished repeating whatever he wanted to say. He has been very rude and disrespectful. 2. Issues with Mice: On January 21th, I reported that I saw a mouse in the living room of my apartment. The next day afternoon, the management came to put mouse traps. However, in the morning of January 25th when I reported hearing a crying, whining, struggling mouse that was possibly dying at late night of 24th, no one responded. Yet, the website indicated that someone had already resolved the issue on January 26th, which is not true because I never left the apartment on both 25th and 26th. I finally saw a maintenance person on April 4th when he removed the first mouse that has been dead under the oven since January 24th. Since then I have found five more mice, and four dead mice have been found and removed by a worker after I repeatedly requested to do so.Property Manager Responded

It’s a big mistake!
February 6, 2019Do not step in this property if you want a peaceful and healthy community. Full of bugs, roaches, mouses! And management are not responsive, they just say ok and that’s all! Avoid this place at all cost!
October 9, 2018Mice and roach infestations so bad you could see them in the daytime. We had a mold issue in all 3 bedrooms where the vent would leak water causing black mold on the drywall and flooded carpets causing us to sleep in the living room for safety while it dried. Our last day there was Sept 17th. On September 14th we called the leasing office to come do a walk through to cover our butts so we didn't get any shady move out fees. The gentleman came did a walk through and told us everything looked good ...and that it was normal wear and tear. We moved out September 17th, and this morning I get a $1200 invoice for the carpet and walls! I call the rental office and guess what? The leasing agent that gave me the thumbs up no longer works for UDR! The leasing office says to call Colorado which is the corporate office. So I call there explain the situation and get told tough luck if the employee isn't there there's no proof? On top of that the people at corporate had a very rude attitude and spoke down to me with an antagonistic tone both times I called. Avoid this place, you get what you pay for. DO NOT LIVE HERE
July 25, 2018The location is amazing and the maintenance people have been pleasant enough. However, NONE of it is worth the absolute rudeness of the leasing staff, the constant roach infestation, weird smells, breaking water and elevators, thin walls... must I go on? The walls are extremely thin so you will be hearing EVERYTHING your neighbors are doing all hours of the day and night. If someone sneezes in the hallway you can hear it from a bedroom type of thin walls. The apartment has an extreme roach ...infestation that they claim is the tenants fault (coming back to this point later) and so you have to deal with constant pest inspectors... who end up not doing much to fix the problem. In the building I was in, the elevators are out pretty much every other week. The water is turned off at least three times a month because of problems that make me feel unsafe drinking the tap water. The showers almost never actually have hot water and when they get around to fixing it you will only getting boiling water until the next time they decide to work on the water. Plus you’ll never get clean clothes as the laundry machines are almost always broken and never get fixed. The worst part of all is the leasing staff. They were nice enough before I moved in but almost immediately after signing my lease things began to go wrong. They act as if you are somehow bothering their day with a question or look hung over. When trying to move out, they constantly lost forms and claimed it was my fault for not making sure they did their jobs. Pretty much say goodbye to the security deposit and the mysterious added fees when you try to leave. They take advantage of the fact you and are just focused money.
