Starting off they tried to get us to pay our pet deposit twice on top of paying the pet fee (they are not the same and are both hundreds of dollars). Maintenance does not get anything done until the last possible second, and when they are supposed to be working they are hanging out in front of their main room smoking weed. Since the freeze in February we have not had water collectively for three weeks (one week straight, and the other two weeks it comes on for about an hour and that is it). When ...
the freeze happened they emailed everyone and told us that the renter’s insurance that we have through them will not cover any damage that occurred from the pipes busting (a handful of apartments flooded). And somehow our water bill for that month was still the same even though we haven’t been able to shower as much. My fiancé and I have been driving to the gym to take showers. The leasing office’s solution to all this was to allow people to stop buy and get pizza instead of giving us money off our rent because we have not had basic necessities. We are currently trying to get out of our lease now rather than when it is up in December because this is ridiculous.
