***BE AWARE, BE MINDFUL**
I lived at the complex since 2020 and just moved out. The experience of living there was satisfactory. I am the tenant who does not require a lot of assistance. I pay my rent and I only interact with management if there is an issue that I cannot solve.
There have been many changes over the span of time that I lived there, to include management companies, and of course management. I do not have a conclusive opinion of the leasing agents on property as the few times that ...
I have interacted with them, their management style does not correspond with what I am used to, so I try to keep our interaction to a minimum.
However, I feel as though it’s necessary to make any current or prospective tenants aware of the business model that represents "Bad Business." After living at the property for almost 6 years, I received a bill indicating that I was being billed $1000.00 dollars for the carpet and $120.00 for blinds. Now the carpet was covered with area rugs and shampooed regularly. I opted not to shampoo them prior to moving because after the amount of time of living there, it was my belief that the carpet would be changed. I had no idea that it would be at my expense. I was advised that the bill was higher for the carpet change because they could not just shampoo them, but they had to be changed for the new tenants. The mini blinds were cracking and falling apart with every touch. As I reviewed the life span of blinds, it was not very long, due to sun exposure and dry rotting.
I actually had the blinds changed out in my bed room and was told that I could have the others changed. I opted not to have the others changed. Had I known that me choosing to live with them would cost me in the end, I would have called maintenance for "EVERYTHING." So, the purpose of this review it makes the business practice of the complex known. "Informed Minds Make Informed Decisions." They seem to be loyal to the dollar and will obtain them by any means necessary. Please know that you could live in attendance and do all that you are supposed to do and they will still find things to charge you for.
Just be mindful, and be aware of the possibilities and business practices.
