RODENT INFESTATION

this apartment complex is absolutely disgusting and infested with pests. the rats run around the parking lots and chew the wires underneath the cars! I found tons of mice in my apartment and the leasing office does nothing about it but say they will follow up with “pest control”

Please be advise that the community leasing office, as well as maintenance, have been made aware of the recent activity and we are actively and aggressively treating the origin of the issue as well as additional areas within the community. It is unfortunate, but management is not always made aware of each incident when they initially arise. However, when we are made aware, we are sure to make every effort to quickly resolve the concern and follow up with the resident to ensure our efforts were satisfactory. In addition, notices have been sent to all residents reiterating that the property does not offer bulk trash or furniture disposal and the importance of disposing personal trash into the proper community trash receptacles. Daily, our team members pick up all loose trash and debris found throughout the community in addition to properly disposing of resident trash found next to the trash receptacles instead of inside. So much trash in area and dog poop everywhere, pee comes down to my patio from upstairs neighbors and the management likes to screw people and keep them stuck here with an auto renew clause. There are several lawsuits against them for this and I might have to add to it just to get out of this hell hole.

I’ve lived here a year never again. the last month of my lease the enemies management got fired and new management took over. I don’t know which was worse. They don’t solve problems, they scan you into a lease and they are rude and inconsiderate. After a year they forced us to stay another month. They are unprofessional. Even if you’re clean you’ll have mice and they don’t fix it

Bed Bugs, Mice, and Incompetent Staff

I moved into Walker Manor Apartments in March 2019. I chose to move here because of the convenience, lots of green space, and b/c the complex is pet friendly. However, moving here was the worst decision I’ve ever made. Here’s why: 1. The apartment has BED BUGS!!! When I first got bed bug bites and called the leasing office, they were rude, difficult, and not empathetic to the situation. Even though I told the property manager I saw them with my own eyes, he tried to say it could be fleas, ...

mosquitoes or something else. They did this knowing another unit had a bed bug infestation. Not only did I experience stress from the bites, I had to fight with the office to get treatment done. I’m usually up each night at 4 AM getting feasted on by bed bugs. I’m tired at work and throughout the day and can not get sleep here. 2. The exterminator company they use is a complete joke. The units have major pest issues and residents complain their services are not effective. When they came out to do an inspection, they stated they did not spot any bed bugs. However, another company followed up and found them. The apt said the company they are contracted with had to do the treatment. They finished their treatment and guess what? I am still living with bed bugs! 3. The Apartment invests way too much money in maintaining the outside of the property while the inside is filthy. The hallways often smell, carpets are dirty, and lots of bugs. 4. The Apartment has terrible mice infestation issue! 5. The buildings are old and you can hear your neighbors moving above and below you. The water pressure is weak especially in the morning when others are showering. 6. Maintenance does not do a thorough job. There is space between my baseboards and flooring which makes it easier for pests to enter. I’ve submitted 2 work order requests and maintenance did not do a thorough job as I am still dealing with the issue. 7. My advice to you is, do not move here because it is convenient. This place will negatively impact your quality of life. For the price you pay, it is not worth it. The mice, bed bugs, and fighting with the leasing office will negatively impact your mental health. 8. Oh and if you do not pay your rent by the 7th, you will have a nice eviction notice posted on the main door for all of your neighbors to see.

Too Many Issues with Pests

Walker Manor is a nightmare! Maintenance staff are very lazy and take weeks to fulfill service orders! They tow cars from parking lot every day! Staff are very rude and incompetent! They have mice! They try to find every excuse to evict you so they can keep your money. Too much noise and no privacy. Most office staff live right there on the property! Don't move here. Spend little more and move somewhere better.

Wonderful place to live for people who like Luke-warm showers and walls thin enough you can hear the angry ex-husband next door. The leasing office is helpful till you move in.
