I lived at the Walnut Creek Apartment complex for over 10 years. We loved it. The apartments are spacious and clean. The location is perfect, 2 blocks away from the freeway entrance. The area is super safe, for me that is important because I lived with my daughter.
The manager is very kind, caring and diligent.
Compared with other apartments in the area, Walnut Creek apartments is much spacious and clean and offers you a great value for your money.

This apartment is a great value in a prime location, offering a clean, comfortable home for those seeking a budget-friendly 2-bedroom in Walnut Creek. The only drawback is some noise from upstairs/downstairs neighbors, but overall, I highly recommend it!
Location & Neighborhood
The area is safe, clean, and convenient. It’s walking distance to BART (via a freeway overpass) and near Sprouts grocery store and a corner store with essentials. There are great Middle Eastern food options, plus Iron ...
Horse Trail for biking and walking. The Pleasant Hill Library is also close. No visible crime—no broken car windows, no safety concerns. Nearby apartment complexes transition into private homes, and two churches are nearby.
Apartment Features
The units are spacious, with a large walk-in closet in the master and a good-sized second bedroom closet. Before move-in, the carpet was replaced, and walls were painted. Appliances work well, and central heating functions efficiently. The one issue is sound from neighbors, as floors aren’t soundproof.
Amenities & Common Areas
Well-maintained laundry and pool area. Each unit has a private covered parking spot, plus free street parking for extra cars.
Management & Maintenance
Property manager Katerina is fantastic—kind, hardworking, and attentive. She lives onsite and is very accessible. The handyman was prompt when I needed small fixes. Rent is paid via check, either in person or via a secure drop box. Some rental deals may be available based on timing and lease length.
Value for Money
For Walnut Creek, this is the best value for a 2-bedroom. Safe, spacious, and well-managed at a fair price.
Final Thoughts
The move-in process was smooth, and management was accommodating. After three months, I would absolutely recommend living here—it’s ideal for families, young professionals, or singles wanting extra space.
