toilets running constantly in the beginning, and had maintenance fix them multiple times, but continued to have an unreasonably high water bill. We were comped $20 one month, likely because I was so ill and complained that it doesn’t add up for a water bill to be that high when no one is home all day. Our apartment smelled like an ashtray, which in turn made us and all of our belongings smell like an ashtray. None of us smoke, this was supposedly from the previous tenant. I ended up moving out and going home (out of state) with our baby and dog because it no longer felt safe there breathing that day in and out. We didn’t see this exact apartment before moving in, just one with the same floor plan. We were told we could move apartments, but would have to wait until one came available, whenever that was or that we could be let out of the lease but would still be responsible for rent. (lol) They claimed they put in new carpet before we moved in, but that’s a clear lie. My (new) socks were black from just walking on the carpet for a couple hours. I ended up having the carpet cleaned, and the water was like something out of a swamp. Tell me how new carpet would be that dirty? They went up $100 on rent in the 6 months we were there. Along with the other issues we had it’s just not a place I’d recommend to anyone. There’s a lot of other complexes in town that are nicer and more fairly priced.
