October 1, 2025I've lived 5 years at Willow Lakes apartments. The staff have been great and know of my memory issues and recent stroke, treating me with respect. The staff, Sean, Scott, and Zack go out of their way to make sure repairs and assistance is provided ASAP. We're currently working on making my patio more attractive and just today the appearance is much improved. A big positive shout out to them for the improvements!Review from Apartments.com
Nice neighborhood

Rude
August 6, 2018For how expensive this place is, nothing seems to work properly. The staff is rude, especially the assistant. She doesn't do her job, and then claims she did and you just "forgot". This not only happened to me, but other residents as well. They need to work on the type of people they hire. I am not impressed.Property Manager Responded

Nice place, unwelcomed guests
September 23, 2015I love my apartment and the complex I'm in, but I often find a dozen or so geese and ducks outside of my apartment. They commonly like to attack and run at me when I come home. Hence all the geese droppings around the place. There's also a lot of bugs that get into my apartment because of the pond in the complex. Still love it! Just don't love the angry geese or bugs.Review from Apartments.com

September 7, 2015Willow Lake Apartments is a awesome place to live. The staff is very friendly and extremely helpful. They worked with us to help our move go as smooth as possible which is very much appreciated as a person in the Military. The units are clean and maintenance does a great job with the upkeep as well as responding to any maintenance that needs to be done in the apartments in a timely manner. My favorite part about this place is that you are minutes away from everything. September 23, 2013My husband and I have lived here for over a year, after Karen helped us relocate from Richmond. We love it!! The apartment community is lovely, with beautiful trees, flowers and a lake! The residents all look out for each other, and are kind and welcoming. The office staff, especially Karen, takes care of every concern in a timely fashion. I have lived all over VA., and have NEVER had better service anywhere. The maintenance staff are professional and trust-worthy, and any issue I've had has been ...fixed almost immediately. Please consider these apartments for your new home. You won't be disappointed!!
