What Texas Is Supposed To Be

When you move to Texas you move here because you have heard about Southern Hospitality. I lived in Texas 9 years before I found just that. And I found it at Windsor Lantana Hills. My neighbors have been helping me rehabilitate a rescue dog who WAS (now much better) afraid of his own shadow. But the staff here also stepped in. Head of Maintenance (Will) knows every dog by name, and will even help you set up playdates. The entire staff is invested in you having a great experience. I've never waited ...

more than an hour for maintenance request to be fulfilled. But overall this is a place to actually feel at home, to know your neighbors, to trust the staff to make sure things go smoothly, and to honestly just feel safe.

I generally thoroughly enjoy living at Windsor Lantana, it is a beautiful and well maintained community. I am especially impressed by Michael Sabatini, the leading consultant. He has been very attentive to all of our needs, and has bent over backwards to help out with specific items. Recently I was traveling out of state and urgently needed access to an item I had left in my apartment and Michael went way out of his way to help coordinate me gaining access to that item. 5 stars to him and 5 stars ...

Poor Infrastructure. Will not be renewing

We do not have any running water at this time and the entire community's maintenace is backed up. Very poor infrastructure. Not sure if this community was built in the 60s or 70s but it certainly does not feel as modern as Windsor makes it seem. We had the same issue last year and the year before with pipes bursting. Now our kids cannot shower or use the restroom and we have to leave to go live at our parents house for a few days. Certainly will not be renewing here. Not getting the value we paid ...

for time and time again with these recurring issues.

Terrible Communication

I had water damage from the freeze earlier this year. What I find extremely unacceptable is that at no point in the repair process, did I have any idea when any work was going to be done. When I reached out to make sure the subcontractors would be able to perform their work unhindered, I was told that the work was isolated to the bedroom. Imagine my surprise when every single piece of furniture is moved and in random spots, my bed inaccessible, my toilet inaccessible, and my shower ...

inaccessible. I was not warned that this was going to happen so I didn't put anything away or secure anything in areas other than my bedroom, so I can't even really begin assessing what has been moved. What I can tell you is that I feel violated knowing that a bunch of subcontractors went through all my personal items due to a lack of communication from your team. I can also tell you that I am upset to see that my sensitive electronics are coated in a layer of dust and scattered about in such a way that I can't tell if anything is missing or damaged. I can tell you that I have a few plants that have been knocked over or damaged in some way. Your inclination here might be to say they are just plants, but some of these are expensive orchids that have been in my care for years. So in short, I am very upset. This happened on Friday. Today is Monday and I have yet to received any communication or a fix from them. I have been staying in a hotel since Friday.

Nice amenities; Mostly luxury except for plumbing

The apartments and amenities are nice. Quiet place to relax. There is no hot water in the bathroom sinks and the fixtures are very old looking which is surprising compared to the marketing of this property.

Staff is amazing!!!! Everyone walks around with a smile making everyone feel welcomed. Maintenance is fast always willing to go the extra mile to get the problem resolved and you can't forget the wonderful ladies working in the office keeping customer service as a priority and making Lantana the wonderful place it is! We are very happy with this community. The property is clean and well-maintained. The pool is great and I use the gym several times a week. We have had a couple of very minor maintenance issues which have been resolved quickly by friendly staff. Highly recommend!

The management of this community far exceeded my level of expectations. Not just COVID, but through the Feb. 2021 winter storm as well. They were informative, supportive, considerate and more importantly THERE. I haven't lived in an apt. complex in over 48 yrs. I never dreamed this level of service still existed. Thank you to the hard work and extreme effort the office & maintenance staff put in to make sure we are safe and comfortable. I highly recommend this community.

I was asked to provide an overall review. It's pretty here, outside and inside. The pool is beautiful. I asked management to alter the schedule of the dog cleanup staff which operate outside my bedroom window so it wouldn't awaken me early each morning, and they did. I appreciated that tremendously. Sometimes the gas grills don't work or don't work very well, including yesterday when I tried to grill. I've previously reported the issue a couple of times. Our apartment did not have power for ...

4 days during snowmaggedon, and did not have water for 18 days. Most of that time/water problem was due to broken pipes on the property. The apt management company paid for us to stay in a hotel during that time, and prorated our rent, but they would not reimburse our related expenses, and we had to be proactive to get reimbursement. I was asked to share a review about a recently "completed" maintenance issue, but at the time I received that request, no one from maintenance had come by to fix the issue. They came by on the 7th day after I submitted the work order. It was a simple matter and they fixed it well.
