January 26, 2025I lived @ the Manhattan for 4 years and it was the worst experience I have ever had with an apartment complex. From day one, anything that could go wrong did. The only reason I stayed as long as I did was entirely based on the location of the complex. Otherwise, this place is a disaster. The list of issues I had to deal with is too long for this post so I will just summarize with saying: stay far away from this complex. Walkability is absolutely terrific for all ages - tree lined parks along the River, restaurants of all kinds, watch party options, pubs and breweries, and rail transportation. Very pet friendly with a huge dog park and responsible pet parents help to keep the buildings clean. We love our inside spaces, too, with high ceilings, stainless appliances, large rooms, pool tables, newly refinished pool, yoga ...room, and more! May 3, 2021I love living in the Manhattan and I love the unit we have been able to rent for the price we are paying! My biggest issue has been that our apartment didnt seem like it had a lot of maintenance done when we moved in- we have been put in multiple repair service orders to fix our lock, to unclog our bath drain, to fix the doorstoppers back on the walls, to grease our hard-to-slide patio door, to unclog our dishwasher, to fix two loose cabinet doors, and to change the outlet jack so it would be ...accessible with our cable. We had to a LOT of maintenance requests and its disappointing it wasnt addressed beforehand. Additionally we didnt like not having a light fixture in our bedroom.
