2 major fires since I moved In. Today fire alarm was going off in the basement. Being afraid of losing all my possessions in a fire, I called the main office who said they would “send someone over”. After racing home from work, checkig to make sure the building was not on fire, I then had to go to the office to get some one over there. Had it been an actual fire I would have lost all my possessions and possible my life. The management didn’t seem to care that I feel unsafe, and has made no policy ...

Have lived here almost a year with no issues. This is not a luxury apartment but it is very homelike. Nice neighbors, no issues with to very respectful. The apartments are nice and spacious, loved the central heat and cooling you don't need to run it long at all for your apt to be toasty or cool. Other than slight move in hiccups there were no issues. Work orders were answered within hours or days. Once our heat broke and the maintenance person was there in less than two hours. property amenities too much, the laundry machines are old and don't dry well. I did my laundry offsite. The parking here is a con, open concept but install a camera in your car, I have a bunch of mystery scratches on my vehicle due to parking there. Also the area is great, Henrietta is close to downtown, many stores, etc. the convenience was a huge pro. I honestly will be sad to leave. The staff can take a while to contact you back/there is some miscommunication. I just met the new property manager and they seem to have their stuff together.

I moved in about 4 months ago, when we moved in so many things had to be fixed. it took them 2 months to give us a new microwave after trying to fix the broken one twice. Our mailbox was broken for a month and they wouldn't give us new keys (which is illegal). Our toilet was broken when we moved in and we had to call 3 times to get it repaired. After the third time they "fixed" it, the toilet flooded our whole bathroom with and inch of water and flooded the floors below us. We called the ...
corporate office to have out bathroom stuff replaced they never called me back. They make this place look so nice on the outside and its not at all. Don't waste your time. There rent is way too high for nothing. We are not happy at all and will be moving out as soon as our lease is up, which is a shame.

We moved in 2 1/2 months ago and just love it! The location is very convenient to lots of shopping and restaurants.
The office staff and maintenance guys are friendly and helpful. I have had to call in a few minor repairs and they get taken care of quickly.
The apartment is very roomy and each one has a balcony and lots of natural light. They recently upgraded all the appliances and everything works great.
The only downside I have found is that you can hear your neighbors above and beside you. ...
But overall, I would definitely recommend Winton Village Apartments.

My fiancé and I chose Winton Village after a thorough search and visits to many complexes on both the West and East sides of Rochester. We have a Two Bedroom/Two Bath Apartment with the upgraded appliances, etc. It's not hard to qualify for their awesome offer of no security deposit. Your credit score must be above 650 to qualify (yours and the others living with you).

our apartment hunt and definitely played a factor in our decision. Also, the ability to pay your rent online was an expectation we had and many complexes didn't offer this option believe it or not. Winton Village provides thorough instructions on how to make your monthly rent payments online.
Location. This is another factor that significantly played into our decision to choose Winton Village. Naturally we had to look at the closest Wegmans to the complex and we had three to choose from in Pittsford, Calkins Road (closest) and Hylan Drive. My fiancé is a Speech Pathologist and now has a 9 minute commute into the city and I work near RIT and have a 13 minute commute. This complex is essentially nestled in the corner of Brighton/Pittsford/Henrietta with Henrietta prices.
We walked into our apartment on November 4th to the smell of fresh paint, new carpet, brand new cabinetry, and appliances.
I'm not being paid or influenced in anyway in making this review of Winton Village.
