A dumpster fire!
July 18, 2025I strongly advise against renting at this apartment complex—it's been an utterly disastrous experience from start to finish.Toured in May 2025, eyeing two one-bedroom plans. Sole positive: close proximity to the N line train for easy commuting. Positives end there.Tour unit had a microwave in the "modern kitchen," but mine lacked one—the only such case per maintenance. Leasing agent Kyle promised a garage; after endless unanswered calls, emails, and corporate complaints, confirmation came June ...28. Yet, move-in July 7 revealed it unavailable, still inaccessible as of July 18, 2025.Unit arrived unclean with odor, hole in sink porcelain, unbalanced fan (self-fixed), faulty laundry door, ceiling water stains/cracks, moldy baseboards—indicating neglect. Maintenance half-hearted; known roof leaks "imminent" fix.Website boasts amenities like clubhouses, pools, bike repair, dog wash, gated entry. Reality: one clubhouse/pool closed indefinitely, other pool shut; bike room abandoned mess; dog station unhygienic wreck; gates always open.Leasing staff dismissive, communication abysmal. Four Years Here — Bell Partners is the Worst Yet
May 23, 2025I’ve lived at Haven 124 for nearly 4 years across 3 different units under 3 different management companies. Bell Partners has, by far, been the most disappointing. Since moving into our current unit on April 13, our in-unit dryer has been broken. I’ve submitted five maintenance requests (April 17, 19, 23, May 7, May 11) and sent multiple emails. All were ignored until I escalated the issue — and even then, the only response came after pressure. Broken mailboxes, dog waste left on the grounds, ...trash overflow, non-working security gates and a complete lack of communication from management are ongoing issues. Meanwhile, they keep sending automated emails about bizarre leasing office events.Property Manager Responded

Do not move here
May 23, 2025We moved into an apartment that was not at all ready for us to move into. The kitchen light didn’t work, the dryer didn’t work, and the shower didn’t work. We put in work requests for all of them on the first day of living there and they took 4 weeks to come and fix the shower and the kitchen light. The dryer is still not fixed and it’s been 6 week. Management doesn’t care and will just ignore you. I’ve emailed and called multiple times and I’ve gotten a response once from the property manager ...who basically told me they do their work orders in order of how they come in. Yet it takes over 4 weeks or never for them to even try to fix them. Avoid this place at all costs.Property Manager Responded

Avoid Avoid Avoid!
February 27, 2025This place is extremely easy to get into but if you ever have any issues please note they will not be addressed. The property itself is disgusting, trash hanging over bins, rodents like racoons rummaging through and jumping at tenants and the security gate never works. With the exception of 1 person, Mike, the rest of the office crew is very rude and dismissive of tenant issues. Their only job is to bring in new tenants, not handle current ones with respect. They also have no maintenance crew. As ...a former tenant, I had an issue that lasted 9 months. The main office promised to get it fixed no less than 10 times and it was never resolved.Property Manager Responded

November 15, 2023I moved into my apartment October 1, 2023. I have not had a kitchen light since my move in date, 7 weeks ago. I have talked with Mike and Kim and Kim again and filled out maintenance requests. Did not have heat for 5 days. Horrible management!!! JoyceProperty Manager Responded

BLACK MOLD!!!
April 15, 2023This is one of the worst complexes you will ever experience - especially for the amount residents pay in rent. Communication from office to maintenance is non-existent. Constant maintenance needs, damages, floods, amenities not functioning, pests, etc. Many people currently living there experience the same issues. Car ports literally falling over. Horrible neighbors in every building it seems. If you are a good tenant and pay your rent in time, you still get the short end of the stick opposed to ...the tenants who literally squat for months. Found black mold while moving out after being told by management that they verified themselves. Disgusting. Management will say that they reviewed maintenance requests that were not taken care of. Do Not Live Here
November 8, 2021Mike was amazing and helped a lot well I was there. Although he is the only one that was like this. This place was literally the worst and I dreaded coming home. Something was always broken and they took forever to fix. My 4 month old baby and me were in a very hot apartment with no a/c and did not come for over 2 weeks until I started calling everyday literally every hour. Maintenance Doesn't Prioritize Repair Orders
July 26, 2021The maintenance department is very unorganized. We moved in at the beginning of June and were told our apartment had been renovated, yet our AC went out 7 weeks later in late July (which was 2 days ago as I write this) with temps at 90+ degrees. I placed a repair order request first thing, then another several hours later, and after hearing nothing from maintenance after roughly 7 hours, went to the office to complain to the front desk. I was told there were over 200 repair orders, and mine ...was probably near the bottom, but he would contact the maintenance supervisor and have her contact me. Two hours later I still hadn't been contacted, so I went to complain again. This time I spoke to a leasing agent who called maintenance and asked if anyone had time to check my AC. Clearly this issue was not treated as emergent, because apparently there is no system for prioritizing repair orders. Obviously, we want to make sure every resident is happy and I'd like to take a minute to address your concerns. Our maintenance team is trying very hard to keep up with all work orders and emergency requests. I am happy to hear you had working A/C for for a while before needing to call in about it. Unfortunately, mechanical things break down. There are times when we have multiple emergencies come up in the same day that we must address first before we can move on to the next one. I do understand you had to wait a bit for your A/C to get fixed and we appreciate your patience and understanding as we work to get everyone taken care of the best we can. Theft, Crime, and nonstop problems.
May 18, 2021Me and my girlfriend have been living in this complex for a little over 8 months now. In that time span our hot water has gone out 5 times, we’ve had our mail and packages stolen, there have been 2 shootings and 1 murder on site, and this morning we were threatened to have our cars towed due to having a small crack in our windshield. I am disappointed to hear it hasn't been what you expected and would like the opportunity to turn things around for you. As you may remember from the email that went out to the community, we do not tow for cracked windshields; our patrol service made this mistake when patrolling for inoperable and abandoned vehicles. This has since been remedied, however if you experience any further issues, please let us know.
