The first white settlers came to the area in 1833. The area was first Indian hunting grounds, and eventually became a railroad village, taking over a primarily farming industry. Today Bensenville is nestled between Chicago and O'Hare airport.The Churchville School is a place to visit, and listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
