When it comes time for a Birmingham apartment-ite to grab some grub, they know that the best places in town are the barbecue places, but with so many throughout the city, how can we know which is the best. If you're looking for delicious barbecue cooked up the good old fashioned way, over actual charcoal smoking for hours, then one spot you have got to stop by is Jim 'N Nick's Bar-B-Q, where flavor is full on and all the big slabs of meat you could want are available, and the helping are always huge and delicious. Barbecue has become like a religion to many Birmingham apartment-ites, so a joint has to be sure that they do everything just right, or else they're sure to lose their customers. At Jim 'N' Nick's, everything is made in house, from the smoked brisket, to the delicious turkey, the cream cole slaw, the bold baked beans, even a home made mac 'n' cheese. The menu is full on with delicious items to choose from, making it a feast fit for a king. Looking to munch on a little something before your meal? Grab a heaping helping of onion rings, hand breaded, or a wood grilled quesadilla, or try their kitchen sink nachos or homemade cheese biscuits. You can also try one of their delicious stews or salads, including the Ileen's Brunswick Stew, Company Pig Salad, or Mr. Jim's spicy chili. You can get one of their barbecue kitchen plates, with your choice of pulled pork, Black Angus beef brisket, barbecue chicken, turkey breast, hot lengths, or any combination of two of those.
