Apartment living in Dallas is always fun, because you're surrounded by so many entertaining things to do on a night out, so the most important task is not finding a great bar, pub, club or venue, but deciding which of many locations if best for your night. For a chance to dance the night away in an awesome atmosphere, enjoy a great meal and some affordable drink specials, then take the short drive down to the 8.0 restaurant and bar in Fort Worth. At 8.0, there's something for nearly everyone. Whether you want to dance, drink, eat or just listen to some great live music, 8.0 delivers in spades. First, the dance area: it's walls are lined with beautiful, large murals painted by local artists, but don't let that fool you. DJs play thumpin' trance, dance and techno, perfect for your dancing needs. If you want to get noticed by beautiful members of the opposite sex, then the dance floor is just the place. The floor is in the back, with the front prepared to serve you delicious food. If you're looking for something a bit quieter, take a walk out to the outdoor patio, where during the week it's just a chill place to hang with your bros, or girlfriends, and have a nice bite or a drink. On the weekends it comes alive, with some of the best live music in Dallas resounding from its large outdoor stage. One thing that eight-o delivers that most clubs don't is that they combine a kickin' good night dancing with a delicious meal. They don't just phone it in with usual cheap bar food either. All of the food is fresh and cooked right back in the kitchen, made with only the best ingredients. There is a varied array of burgers, from your usual burger with cheese and bacon, to the tequila habanero sloppy bbq burger, arugula queso blanca burger, and the nancy goat and popeye burger, topped with goat cheese and spinach. They are also famous for their North and South plates. North plates with a vegetable and a bread, while the south plate comes with enchiladas in tomatillo sauce, cheese and burracho beans, and both come with your choice of tiger shrimp, grilled beef, chicken breast or salmon. For you veggie fans, try the V-8-0 tower, a huge tower of only the freshest and most delicious of vegetables. For a meal, for a dance, for a delicious drink, this is the place. Dallas apartment residents will have to try hard to find a place that combines the feeling of a music venue, a club, a bar and a restaurant all in one better than eight-o.
