Theis Park can give you all that and so much more. Here at this beautiful park you can jog along the trails, attend a weeding at the pavilion, throw rocks into Bush Creek and throw a Frisbee across the vast green way. The park is a perfect place to just stop and catch your breath. It is situated near the Plaza and Nelson Atkins Art Museum so there is always something interesting to see. View the monuments and enjoy a game of football,baseball, tennis or basketball on the many courts. Take the time to feed the fish and listen to the gurgling of the creek. It sooths the nerves and gives you a feeling of peace. Its a great way to spend an afternoon with the kids and just reading a book under a tree. If your a visitor or a neighbor this is the way to spend the day.
