When Surfside Beach apartments are calling, make your way toward them and go for it right away. Surfside Beach is one of the friendliest locations on the Grand Strand, in the heart of the 60 mile long stretch of Carolina beaches encompassing Myrtle Beach and the apartments along it. It's only been since the mid 1960's, after Hurricane Hazel destroyed much of the town ten years before, that more police were hired, streetlights erected and improvements to parking and city streets were built. That gave rise to the growth of this small town and the popularity of the beach increased, and now the beach is dubbed "the family beach." There is no admission fee for Myrtle Beach apartment residents or anyone for that matter, yet the beach is still nicely maintained. The fishing pier at Surfside Beach is popular here as well, as long as you don't stink up your Surfside Beach apartment with the strong scent of fish when you cook or clean them. Quite convenient to the beach area are plenty of restaurants, and indoor and outdoor activities are popular too with a bowling alley, water park and miniature golf quite close by to Surfside Beach apartments. If you are a smoker, be aware that the city of Surfside Beach has a smoking ban in the city, and unfortunately, is not tolerated by residents of Myrtle Beach apartments and homes.
