Instead of delivery pizza at your apartment, celebrate your birthday in style at Manuel's on the 28th for an unforgettable evening. Located on the 28th floor of the Bank of America building in bustling downtown Orlando, Manuel's floor-to-ceiling windows allow you to view the city at its finest. The inside view doesn't disappoint either. The muted earth toned color palate and soft lighting compliments place settings that include Reidel crystal stemware, Lenox china, and fresh exotic orchids. It's no wonder that the restaurant has won recognition from DiRoNa, AAA Four Diamond, and received the Zagat Survey's Certificate of Distinction, and Florida Trend's Golden Spoon Award. The elegant atmosphere is complimented by exceptional service and a wine selection that will impress all diners. Not a wine drinker? Try one of their signature martinis such as the Dressed to Impress Martini. With Jean Marc vodka topped off with a Blue Cheese Stuffed Olive and Roasted Pepper Stuffed Olive, this is one martini that definitely is worth the $18. Like all fine restaurants, Manuel's provides a four course Prix Fixe menu for $60 ($80 with suggested wine parings). The regular menu, which changes seasonally, offers unique blends of flavorful exotic game and seafood. The lobster bisque is the best in town and a definite must order. When available, the miso-marinated Chilean sea bass with seaweed salad is exactly the way Chilean sea bass should be prepared. Instead of a birthday cake back at your apartment, order the flourless cabernet-chocolate torte, with fresh fruit coulis and berries. As expected with an 11 time consecutive AAA Four Diamond restaurant, jackets are preferred and there are no jeans allowed. Manuel's is definitely the place to celebrate another year, or any special occasion that deserves more recognition than pizza.
