Living in Liberty Park apartments is a freeing experience, with the beauty of the 80 acre park nearby, where many activities can take up your evening and weekend hours. With free wi-fi and plenty of picnic tables and chairs and grassy areas, residents of Salt Lake City apartments can work or play here. A large pond with two islands adorns the park, so many species of wildlife can be seen here as well. But seriously, what Liberty Park apartment resident wants to go to the park to work? Basketball, volleyball and tennis courts provide loads of fun with your friends from Salt Lake City apartments, or you can play horseshoes or go swimming. If you're by yourself, enjoy a jog around the park, a trip through the greenhouse or the Tracy Aviary. As the second largest public park in Salt Lake City, it was made into a public park for Salt Lake City apartment residents and homeowners in 1882. Historic markers and buildings are located throughout the park, as well as the free admission Chase Home Museum of Folk Arts. A city zoo was once on the grounds of the park, but the animals were relocated in 1931 where it became the Hogle Zoo. The Tracy Aviary opened in 1938 and is a must see for residents of Liberty Park apartments. Around 400 birds live in about eight acres of the park, with many of them considered rare or endangered.
