Our “must see” beautiful tropical mall includes banana trees, barbecue grills and swimming pool. Luxury island living at affordable prices. A secured building, which can be entered into only with a security chip, makes one feel safe and secure. We require a $35 non–refundable application fee at the time you apply for an apartment. We require that this be paid with a money order. No checks or cash will be accepted for the application fee. The application fee will be used to do a credit, eviction and criminal background check on all applicants.

June 10, 2025 - Review from Apartments.comI had a great experience living at Kona Kai. The apartment was quiet and cozy, just what I needed for a peaceful home environment. I especially loved the wonderful pueblo view—it made every day feel a bit more special. The site manager, Laura, was always professional, friendly, and helpful. She truly made the community feel welcoming. Maintenance was also excellent—every issue I had was fixed quickly and efficiently, which really made a difference. Money hungry, always shutting off water or power

The owners & management are very money hungry.. will charge you for everything & you will be without water a lot of times. They don’t care. The washer & driers never work! Place says smoke free yet it smells like smoke. They’ll charge you for every mishap. Both of the female managers are awful , & the owners are too rich to care about the tenants, the most disgustingly greedy. Wouldn’t recommend this place.
AVOID such a horrible place to live

When asked if they could give a notice i was told they didnt have time and i have a newborn and I have to make bottles.. They have an infestation of bugs and you cant get rid of them. The new management doesn’t care for people and are extremely unprofessional and rude. Pool is always filthy and closed. The building is supposed to be a non-smoker building but it’s filled with smoke at all times of day
Horrible place to live especially if you have children AVOID
July 20, 2021 - Review from Apartments.comif you live here you will never have water. They shut if off more than once a month for hours. They do not call/text or send a letter letting you know there will be no water. When you call they never know when it will be back on (always hours) And there is a huge infestation of bugs Kona kai unfortunately got new management and they are miserable. The new management doesn’t care for people and are extremely unprofessional and rude.
