    Stay away from Kings Point at all costs! This place is beyond deplorable and is not safe for anyone, not even for the bugs coming out of the pipes and cracks in the walls. Spiders, wasps, and roaches everywhere! There was black mold in both bathrooms and would seep out from parts of the shower walls. It caused these dark smears in one wall where someone tried to paint over it. The mold caused several severe allergic reactions that almost required hospitalization. The air vents were also crusted ...
    over with something and smelled like mildew. There was a hole in the roof over the master bedroom that caused a large water leak and the primary maintenance guy told us they wouldn't fix it until hurricane season was over (it was July when this happened). Our toilet broke on day two of moving in and it took two and a half months to get it fixed, and it still had trouble functioning after that. The refrigerator couldn’t hold a constant temperature and a lot of our food spoiled because of it. The dishwasher hardly worked. You would have to run it 2-3 times to get plates cleaned and even then, it still didn’t get all the food residue off. The leasing office double charged us for the application fee and then tried to deny it until we showed the bank statements and confirmation emails. Say goodbye to your security deposit, because they are never going to give that back. The office added random charges to our last bills for stuff left behind and have done this to numerous people. If you have families, definitely stay away. Do not take the risk, you'd be safer sleeping in a car or a tent than at this place! Overall, just run and never look back.

  • Awful apartments mold and they don’t care about tenants

    0 stars – do not move into these apartments. Unless you are okay with mold, half-done “repairs,” and being charged for things you didn’t do, stay away from this place. Management is awful. They accuse tenants of having people live with them without proof, then threaten court and say you’ll be responsible for their attorney and court fees. They don’t care about tenants at all. My bathroom ceiling collapsed from water damage. Their “fix” was shoving a board up there after letting it sit for ...
    days. When the master bathroom unit upstairs overflowed into my unit, they poked a few holes in the ceiling and told me it had to dry on its own—only later spraying the ceiling texture. That’s the level of care you can expect. When you move out, they’ll invent charges for things that weren’t there when you moved in—like lightbulbs ( that I left and brought on my own; when I moved in I had half used light bulbs that’s worked), an ice tray( that was not in unit when I moved in and brought on my own), or even a small tear in a screen they claim. They also refused to let me do a walkthrough before moving in or a final walkthrough when moving out, which makes it easier for them to make up charges. This place is overpriced, unsafe, outdated and run by people who only want your money. Avoid at all costs.

    The negative reviews are old because this place is great. I’ve only lived here a few months but I love it! If I have any issues at all, Lisa is just a call away. She responds quickly and makes sure that things are handled quickly. The apartments have been updated and remodeled so if you passed on this place before, take a second look. You won’t regret it.

    I just toured the apartments. Not only are they spacious and beautifully updated but Lisa and Dominique, who work in the office, were super friendly. Not only did they answer all of my questions, they weren’t pushy and didn’t pressure me to sign a lease after my tour, which is one of the reasons that I have decided to make this place my new home. It looks like a great community and the friendly staff is a bonus!

    This place is horrible. I would not wish my worst enemy on this place. They are disorganized. Maintenance is always low staffed. So many things wrong with apartment. No timeline to fix it. Could be months to fix the smallest thing. Do not come here if you can help it. It is the cheapest for a reason. Run away from this place like it’s a haunted house because you will not get anything taken care of. It’s crazy that people are still coming to live here but I always see people come and go.

    For all who are enticed by the price of this apartment, I get it. Rent is expensive but in this case you get what you pay for. Prior to moving here I read the reviews about this apartment and thought the reviews were placed by people who were needy and asking a lot of the apartment staff when they dont pay enough rent for them to care. However after living here I understand their is ALOT wrong with this place and none of it is ever fixed. The prices increase when nothing has improved in fact ...
    things have regressed. You would think after alerting the complex that something is wrong with the building they would want you to prevent further damage to the apartment by fixing it however they choose to allow the situations to get worse and pocket the extra cash they get by increasing the rent without spending the money on labor and maintenance to fix the apartments. In many cases tenants are just asking for basic customer service or restoration, not expecting them to go above and beyond, however they cannot offer that in many cases. Be very careful if you choose to live here, ensure that you have good renters insurance and don't plan to be here very long.

    I called and was looking for a three bedroom, but was informed that a 2 bedroom with a loft was available and it has more space! Came for a visit, saw the apartment, loved it! Applied the same day, moved in 2 days later. Love my apartment, everything was updated with new appliances and new carpet. Always get my calls answered and maintenance requests handled promptly! Not to mention, the price is just right!

    Zero stars. My husband and I moved here and we were told that we would have hardwood floors in our kitchen, upgraded cabinetry, and updated bathroom mirrors and light fixtures. The day we moved in here the floor was checkered (black and white) NO UPDATED cabinetry all they did was paint the cabinets, the inside is all wood all they did was a facelift on the outside the inside is totally 80s. We had a 70s thermostat which had our electric bill high because it was not energy efficient. The ...
    dishwasher knob has been broken since the day we moved here. We have to run the dishwasher twice to get dishes clean. On the same day of move in the sliding glass door was off the tracks we couldn’t open the door, the closet doors they blamed it on it being new carpet. Please please just don’t even waste your time the list can go on. Please take these reviews serious as I wish I did. Believe EVERYTHING on here you read. This place has NOT 1 ceiling light or ceiling fan. The only places that have a ceiling light is in the kitchen not in the living room or bedrooms. Please I highly advise you to run! They are liars!     Unprofessional company, deceptive business practices, refuse to show actual apartments, threaten to cancel you from a unit when requesting to see it prior to signing the lease (although you paid a holding fee and have an approved application), poor customer service...I can go on and on and on
