Stay away from Kings Point at all costs! This place is beyond deplorable and is not safe for anyone, not even for the bugs coming out of the pipes and cracks in the walls. Spiders, wasps, and roaches everywhere! There was black mold in both bathrooms and would seep out from parts of the shower walls. It caused these dark smears in one wall where someone tried to paint over it. The mold caused several severe allergic reactions that almost required hospitalization. over with something and smelled like mildew.
There was a hole in the roof over the master bedroom that caused a large water leak and the primary maintenance guy told us they wouldn't fix it until hurricane season was over (it was July when this happened).
Our toilet broke on day two of moving in and it took two and a half months to get it fixed, and it still had trouble functioning after that.
The refrigerator couldn’t hold a constant temperature and a lot of our food spoiled because of it. The dishwasher hardly worked. You would have to run it 2-3 times to get plates cleaned and even then, it still didn’t get all the food residue off.
The leasing office double charged us for the application fee and then tried to deny it until we showed the bank statements and confirmation emails. Say goodbye to your security deposit, because they are never going to give that back. The office added random charges to our last bills for stuff left behind and have done this to numerous people.
If you have families, definitely stay away. Do not take the risk, you'd be safer sleeping in a car or a tent than at this place! Overall, just run and never look back.
